Areum's POV
"Good Afternoon passengers, this is the pre-boarding announcement for the flight KNJ93 to Seoul. We are now inviting passengers with small children, and any passengers requiring special assistance, to begin boarding at this time. Please have your boarding passes and identification ready and proceed to gate no. 15. Regular boarding will begin in approximately 10 minutes from now. Thank you"
I looked up from the book I was reading and proceeded towards gate no. 15.
You must be thinking that maybe I am a person who need special assistance.
No, I am not.
No, I am just going early in order to shop from the Duty Free zone.
I am Areum, Kang Areum.
A fashion designer by profession. Well, I am not boasting but my brand is one of the top brands in the world. What brand you ask, Armani.
But people know me by the name Ari Kenna. Weird name, right? I am bad at names so. And no one knows how I look so my life is pretty much peaceful. Moving on, I am going to Seoul, as you guys read the announcement.
I am originally Korean-American. Lived my teen life in Korea and moved to America to pursue my career.
Why am i going back?
It's my best friend's wedding.
My ONLY GIRL best friend.
I opened the gallery in my phone and saw the old pictures of our group. Group of 7 people.
I smiled.
"The boarding has started for flight KNJ93. Passengers are requested to come to gate no. 15 with their boarding passes and identification ready. Thank you"
I got up and got inside the plane.
I sat down on my seat comfortably.
After a few minutes I heard another announcement.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome on board flight KNJ93 with service from Los Angeles to Seoul, SK. We are currently third in line for take-off and are expected to be in air in approximately 7 minutes time. We ask that you please fasten your seatbelts at this time and secure all your baggage underneath your seats or in the overhead compartments. We also ask that your seats and table trays are in the upright position for take-off. Please turn off all your personal electronic devices, including laptops and cell phones. Smoking is prohibited for the duration for the duration of the flight. Thank you choosing Korean Airlines. Enjoy your flight. Now we will be explaining the....."
She started explaining about the security measures and techniques which I already knew.
I sighed, turned my phone on airplane mode and prepare to start going to my dreamland in the course of 13 hour and 30 minutes flight.
