CHAPTER ONE: HOW I SURVIVED MY DEATHBED
Hi, I’m Rachel.
I somehow survived my deathbed.
Let’s just go on to the story so you learn...
I was in hospital because I had symptoms of death.
My parents are upset and the doctors are trying to cheer them up
“Did somebody drug her?” Mum asked.
“Will she live? Is this a false alarm?” Dad asked.
I lay there, not knowing what’s going on.
Oh yeah, I was six at the time, so, yeah.
Going on...
“It’ll be okay, your daughter will be fine.” The Doctor insured.
It’s been a few hours and I felt weak, and tired.
My parents tried to cheer up, but it wasn’t working.
I was tired, and weak.
Suddenly I fell asleep.
I saw a light, then I went to sleep.
I was in a dark, black void, I still felt the covers on me, and I heard cries of sadness.
I heard my heart monitor run flat, and people rushing.
I also heard a voice, a doctors voice.
“She’ll be fine. She’s not dead.” Said a deep, calming voice.
Then everybody faded.
Everything faded, I couldn’t feel anything anymore.
I was just left in the darkness, afraid.
Then I awoke.
I saw panicked and scared faces around me.
My parents hugged me.
I was confused at the time.
“Mummy? Daddy? Am I alright?” I asked.
“Let’s not tell her till she grows up.” My parents said.
They told me just a few weeks ago! I remembered it, aswell.
That was all of the story.
I guess I like my new family now. In a wonderful place! Full of people with wings, and a tall person named Jesus.
I love it here.
