Chapter 1 - Pride
Masatoshi was walking home from school, he saw a store was still open so he started walking towards it, he entered the store and got himself a small water bottle he payed it up front, he went outside opened it and drank it, he simply sighed.
"it was a long day..." he said to himself, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath... As soon as he opened his eyes his surroundings changed there was no longer a store behind him, it was a fountain.
He looked around and saw humans with ears and tails, lizardmen and some other species. He looked at the fountain to take in what just happened, he soon looked up at the sky.
"Am I... In an alternative world?? Does that mean I finally get to live out my dreams on being a main character!?"
he shouted excited thinking his dreams were finally gonna being reality, everyone who was close enough to hear his excited shout look at him like he was crazy.
"Now what should I do?.... There are buildings that resemble shops?... But all the signs have some scribbles on them I can't read that.... And besides I don't have any money."
He started walking looking at the shops while doing so, some had good others had gear, swords, shields, spears... Etc, there were also clothing that were a rip off as his clothes were far more advanced when it comes to quality, he had a blue shirt with a leather jacket on top, his pants were track and field pants.
People looked at him thinking his some royalty because of his clothing, he was walking aimlessly he soon walked in an alley it had stairs going up and another route going left, he sat on the stairs and though what should he do.
"I don't know what I'm supposed to do... Is there like a guild or something like that?... Maybe I should ask someone on how to earn money... No, they will think I'm crazy... Damn never knew main characters had to find a way to earn money,though they just had money because they were overpowerd" while he was thinking, thugs creeped up on him.
"look what he got here! Some fresh meat" said the pig looking thug.
"yeah! I can't wait to see what he has!" said the small half human half fox thug.
"hey you! Turn around and cough up everything you have and maybe we will spare your life!" said the pure human, he seemed like he was the boss of that group.
Masatoshi started to get up with his hands in the air and turned around with a look of pride in his eyes he said to them.
" or what? You've got nothing on me. " he said to them with a smirk, that statement clearly made them angry.
"we have a cocky one don't we boys.
Let's show him then." said the human thug to the other two while the half human half fox rushed at Masatoshi punching him in the face, Masatoshi still having that smirk finally went in a defensive stance.
"that all? I barely felt that!" he said confidently as he gutted the thug who punched him in the face, the thug clutched his stomach and fell on his knees, the pig thug rushed at Masatoshi, he grabbed him and squeezed him Masatoshi started to try and pry himself from the thug but couldn't as the pig started to squeeze harder Masatoshi started whimper more and more till it became a scream, the half human half fox got up and jumped on the pig and shoved an apple he had in his bag in Masatoshi's mouth to stop his screaming.
They all luagh as creaks and pops start to come from Masatoshi's body.
