Part 1
“Esme! We’re going now!” Damien groaned and looked up the stairs tapping his foot impatiently.
“I’m coming, I’m coming. Just give me a minute.” Esme finished off her hair and started quickly putting her purse together.
“Esme it’s been 20 minutes since the last time you said that. Now, I’ve been a great brother waiting for you but-OUCH! What the heck was that for?”
Esme gave Damien a glare and walked out of the door. Esme was happy to go to the movies, but a bit concerned because “it’s an amazing surprise” according to Damien. And Damien and she have very different ideas of amazing. He thinks sport is fun, whilst Esme would much rather be reading or binge-watching TV.
