The new ‘friends’
I’ve been going to school at this new town for awhile now and it’s been great I found some great friends and some well kinda ‘friends’ but that doesn’t matter because I still love everyone. Until... I fell.
“Hey, mom. Don’t forget to remind me to get up for school tomorrow. I’m so happy for my new school it’s going to go great!” I explain to mom.
She looks at me for a while so process my I love school so much but when she finally realizes was she wants to say she answers,
“Um? Okay now go to bed tomorrow we have to eat up early.”
I head straight to bed. I can’t sleep because I’m so excited for school! I get up and go to the living room to watch some tv for a while so maybe after that I’ll feel sleepy.
Hours later I heard a knock.
“Who could that be?” I question.
I walk over to the door and look through the little glass whole on my door. I can’t really see who it is because whoever is out there is wearing all black. I go to get mom until the front door opens I turn around and go close to door.
“I swore this door was locked?” I say.
I hear a thud in my parents room I go to see what it was but I felt like I was in the air. My feet were moving but not on the ground. I try to look behind me but all I see is black. I start to scream. It knows my name? It steadily says,
“Jaylee, Jaylee. Wake up.”
Wake up? Why is it- I understand now this must be a dream or something I try to follow the voice of what appears to be my moms until I wake up covered in sweat.
“Did you sleep good?” Mom asks.
I wipe my forehead and nod she already put out the clothes I will be wearing for school so I won’t waste time picking.
Minutes later I’m done with breakfast and I’m heading out the door. I see these girls huddled up in a little group huddle and I want to see what’s going on so I go over to where they are at. One girl notices me and pushes me on the ground the others here the thud and one girl grins and says,
“Oh. You must be Jaylee the new girl.”
