Chapter-I

A shimmering light falls on my eyes and I find myself in the uncanny world. Is this a world or an imagination? What am I seeing? Is this a dream?

“Sumit woke up. This is not what I am thinking. He ponders. Let’s find out what I do today. Go to take his shower and then prepare himself for breakfast. After recovering from that terrifying dream; a dreadful moment is waiting for him; he does not aware what will happen to him as today is Sunday and he wants to splurge himself in music and writing. As he starts to write; out of the blue someone knocks the door.

“Come in, the door is not closed” said Sumit

“Hello, Sumit. How are you?” asks Andrea

“I am fine and what about you? So, early you are here. What happened, everything fine” asks Sumit

“You forget why I am here?” asks Andrea

Sumit ponders and said, “Yes, you are here for our project on science fiction writing. Sorry for my oblivious behaviour”

“So, what yours plan for our project, Andrea?”Asks Sumit. As you know, I am free today and need something creative and different story for our science fiction writing.

“Andrea takes the paper on the table and sits on the sofa, and then imagines the story about their science fiction. But out of the blue, what if we write on a social life story about a girl who lives in a poverty and one day will become the successful person?”

“That’s great Andrea but what we will write in this project? asks Sumit

“Life of a creative student who alters the history of the world” replies Andrea

“Let’s start then” replies Sumit

“Journey of a girl who lives in poverty but has dreams to alter the world with her mathematical equations. Her name is ‘Shruti’ and a student of class 12th standard and her final exams are coming but still finds herself in trouble”

“It’s raining outside the home, filthy floors and grubby roads outside the house. She doesn’t have any clue to remain inside the home. She has to attend the examination but her puny and pathetic mother wants her to go fast to reach the school in the examination centre so as to attend the examination. She doesn’t have father, her father perished last year and she doesn’t have any source of income sync she is writing an articles and playing guitar in various local stages. That guitar is the gift by father to her and writing skills also is in her inheritance when she was only 5 years old. Tears come out from her eyes, mother comes from behind but she remains quiet and said what if I don’t have enough resources like others. My life and my dedication are my true passion and my gift by nature. I will go and attend the examination.

Blessed by her mother, she leaves for the examination centre. In the interim, with filthy shoes covered with sludge, each drop of rain falls on her face, a shimmering grin, infinite consecrated extols, every glitch in her path exasperates her but her fortitude and audacity defeat all the hurdles in her path.

Reach the examination centre. She is fortunate that she is in time and is not tardy. My life and my dedication are my true passion and my gift by nature. But she has to do a part time job as she wants to assist her mother and the financial condition of her home. Her mother is a waitress in the restaurant and almost spends her whole day in her job, and Shruti doesn’t tell her mother that she is playing guitar as well as writing articles for magazines. She doesn’t do this because she doesn’t want to hurt her mother as her mother told her that she wouldn't do any job until she is doing a job in the restaurant and concentrate on her studies.

Two weeks later, Shruti is busy in writing articles for the magazines. One day, she is returning to her home from the freelancer company where she is writing articles for the magazines. She got the news of the result of 12th board which has been declared by the board. She is excited as well as anxious about the result. She opens the website of the school board on her device and then put her enrolment and sees the result. Totally baffled what she sees as her overall result percentage is above 84 percent but one subject which is the subject of cosmology she fails in this subject. She knew this will happen and now is in trouble. She knows her mother also got this news, and she will ask her to tell the today’s result. With teary eyes, she is the way to her home. Open the gate, entered in the home and find complete hush in the home.

“Are you in the home?” said Shruti. She knows her mother is in home today, she was not going to the restaurant due to her flimsy health. There is no response from her mother. The panic situation creates in the mind of Shruti. She rushes to the kitchen as she thinks perhaps her mother is busy with her work so why she is not responding. And what she sees her mother falls onto the floor with blood flowing from her mouth and is in dire condition. She rushes to her and shouts “Mom, are you fine, what happened to you? She is not responding. She immediately has a glass of water and leisurely lob on her face but her eyes are closed and still she is not in conscious state.

She is in trouble, researching the medicines as her mother took usually in the day time but there is no way to feed through her mouth as she had a blood vomit from her mouth. She immediately calls the doctor who lives 2 km away from her house. Gazing to the doctor and the doctor comes, seeing her mother in the bad condition. Figure out what is the problem that caused her to vomited blood from her mouth. After checking her mother, he finds her mother dead due to the cancer. He (doctor) doesn’t think that this is apposite to tell Shurti about her mother’s death. But he knows Shruti is not an infant so he decides to tell her.

Dr. Albert says “Shruti, it’s hard to tell that your mother was suffering from cancer and she died due to this disease. I am sorry”

After listening these words, she finds herself in a world of seclusion, can’t control on her emotions, tears come out from the eyes, yearning is explicitly seen for her mother, she cuddles her mother in her arms without looking to doctor or here and there. Words wane from her mouth; she whispers just like a flower that was in infant days when born slowly and steadily from its root. Doctor today I haven’t lost my mother but my world also. I have no other option to live in this world where I lost my family and everything which I loved so much. What I do now, I am speechless, where I go, where I live, where I breathe, where I imagine, where to find my mother and father? I lost everything doctor.

Dr. Albert, “I know and understand you are in twinge and you are torment from the lost of your mother and your father, but life never stops. Life is what it teaches you how to expand like universe and how to tranquil like space without being whinge to the creator. Creator what we say God is just a sympathy and solace for humans but the fact is that we ourselves are our creator and our destiny is in our hands and in our thoughts. Shruti don’t give up your life still wants you and this entire universe needs your contribution”
