Chapter 1
“So you'll be working on the tables, And you follow what Maria says alright?”
I nodded.
“Yes sir”
He laughed.
“And don't call me that again, I'm not that much older than you”
I shook my head.
“Have you done this before?”
“Yes, I worked some tables back in Cail before I came to New York”
“Then you don't need Maria?”
I shook my head.
“I got it all down”
“Well then-”
A group came in and sat at one of my tables.
“Looks like you have costumers”
I grabbed my book and my tray. I went to them. There were five of them. They were all in leather jackets.
“Hey guys I'm Grace and I'll be your waitress for tonight, so what can I get you to drink”
I gave them the menus.
“I'll take a Pepsi”
One of them said. One down four to go.
“I'll take a coke”
“I'll take a ice tea”
“Fanta”
Last but not least
“I'll take a coffee”
The guy said in a low growling voice. He's very attractive. He had his fists clenched and his eyes closed.
“Alrighty, I'll be right back with those drinks for you guys then I'll take your order”
I went to Maria. She made the drinks.
“Looks like Mr. Bad boy has his eyes on you”
I looked behind me. The guy who had his eyes closed was staring at me. So were his friends.
“I thought you didn't know anyone here”
I looked back at Maria
“I don't”
“You should totally take him home tonight! You only work for another hour!”
“I'll think about it”
She gave me everything. I put them one my tray. I took them to the guys and passed them out. I put the tray under my arm and grabbed my book and pen.
“So what can I get you Gentalmen?”
Three of them ordered a cheese burger and fries and one ordered a chef salad.
“I'll just take I cheese burger and fries”
It was the same guy who's been starring at me.
“Okay, can I get you Gentalmen anything else?”
The blond haired guy laughed and said.
“Thats Sabatian, okay, he has the hots for you, maybe you can do him a little favor and take him to bed”
“Nice one Andrew” one of them said laughing and shaking his head.
The guys laughed. Expect Sabatian, the one who's been staring at me. Fine I'll play along with their little game.
I put a hand on his back. I leaned way down against his ear and whispered to where him and the guys could hear
“I'm not miss goody-to-shoes, I like it a little wild, think you can give me that?”
They guys hooted. He turned his face towards towards mine. Our lips only inches away.
“I know I can give you that”
The guys we're laughing their asses off. Before I let him kiss me I backed away giggling.
“You gotta wait lover boy, I'm still on shift”
I walked away laughing. The guys we're laughing as well. I gave the order to chef.
“Damn girl you got it going” he said laughing
I shrugged.
“In high school I with this guy, super cute, and super bad ass, I know how to get guys where I want them”
“So your Miss. Bad girl then?”
“That Harley out back doesn't belong to a guy, it belongs to me”
“damn, I need some of you girl”
Our boss, Mike, came up.
“Mark stop flirting with the new girl”
I made a face.
“Yeah stop it”
He chuckled and begun making my order. I went through the tips I got earlier tonight. $37. Great. Enough to get the paint I need for my bike. My brother said he'll do it, I just need to get the paint. I put it in my appron.
“Order up Chica”
“Thanks”
I took the guys food to them I set it out. I took Andrew's cup. I had to lean over the table. Over Sabatian.
“Want a refill of your Pepsi?”
“Sure”
They all started eating. I gave the cup to Maria.
“One refill of Pepsi please?”
“Sure thing hun, So did you get accepted to your new high school or what?”
“Maria, I graduated high school two years ago, after my ex broke up with me I moved up here to live with my brother”
“Another bad boy?”
“You know it”
She gave me the Pepsi. I took it to Andrew.
“Thanks sweetheart”
“Anytime”
