The Wedding
The sun shone brighter then ever as for today was Victoria’s big day. Today she was getting married to her fiancé Oscar Willis who was a kind tall gentleman who had nice golden brown hair. Victoria was so excited she got out of bed at 5:00am which her usual time to wake up would be at 8:30.
Victoria got up out of her silk sheets and undressed out of her night gown and into her working dress that was simply a dress that was meant for working and if you stained it, it would be no problem what so everThe sun shone brighter then ever as for today was Victoria’s big day. Victoria tightened her corset, fixed her hair into waves, put on bright red lipstick as well as bubblegum pink blush. As Victoria was applying her blush, she had accidentally knocked over her perfume bottle which had shattered in to tiny glass pieces leaving a very strong scent of Daisies and tulips. Victoria’s mother had gotten startled by this noise and rushed to Victoria’s room and had asked her what had happened . Victoria soon explained herself and had apologized. As her mother and father were getting dressed, Victoria was getting nervous and thinking of all the bad that could possibly go wrong. She broke out into tears and her parents helped her calm down by patting her back making her feel relieved. After she had stopped, she put on her long white wedding dress with her big satin bow at the back with her fancy laced sleeves, her mother put on a rose coloured dress with a rose coloured hat to match, her father wore a black tuxedo and a gold monocle. They all looked splendid.
Victoria later arrived and had hugged Oscar. “Oscar you look wonderful!” Oscar nodded slightly and he said “same for you.” In a soft tone. Victoria new something was off. She had asked everyone, her friends, family, and Oscar colleagues what was wrong but nobody seemed to know. She had gotten worried. But before she could say anything to Oscar, she had to walk down the aisle. With Victoria having an unsettling look on her face. Oscar had let out a huge smile from ear to ear which had startled Victoria.
After accepting the vows, cake was being served and passed out. At that time Victoria had gone to the bathroom. She pulled her long dress up and had continued. As she finished, she walked out and had washed her hands. She had returned to the wedding and proceeded to dance and have fun, leaving Oscar in the back of her mind and still stressing about him. A slow song followed up and turned to find Oscar but when she turned back, he was standing right there standing tall with the same smile as before. Victoria got scared and has tried to wake herself up as if it was a dream, she started to shake her head vigorously with fear. Oscar had grabbed her and asked what was wrong, Victoria was very confused because just a minute ago he had been acting strange but now, Oscar had been acting completely normal.
Victoria had slow danced with Oscar but he continually stepped her toes with more pressure each time making it seem like it was on purpose. She was in pain but didn’t want to say anything that might make Oscar angry. She shed a tear and Oscar wiped it off with his thumb and Victoria had looked away, Oscar used his hand and grabbed her head making it face him and he said “Why are you upset did I do something? Are you mad at me? Veronica answer me, ANSWER ME!” With a loud enough voice he made everyone at the wedding look directly at him. He had given them all angry stares which had make them look away immediately. This made Victoria feel embarrassed that she had been marrying a man with this attitude.
Now that the wedding was coming to an end, Victoria asked Oscar what had been going on. Oscar simply said “Nothing love, there is nothing wrong, now may I go clean that table over there? Thank you.” Victoria moved out of the way with an angry look on her face, she pulled her dress up walking to her parents and saying, “Did you guys see Oscar changing moods?” Her parents said “no..” Victoria’s jaw dropped. How was she the only one who had seen this? Victoria knew something bad was going wrong, she just couldn’t point her finger at it. “I’m going to find out what’s wrong with Oscar and nobody will tell me not to.”
