Prologue
The great war of the 7 kingdoms brought pain and misery to the moon of Daudora. Daudora was once a very prosperous place, full of joy and peace. But soon came the greed of mankind that wanted power and great strength beyond anything ever known.
A young boy abandoned by his selfish mother grew up to be a self-centred greedy man seeking revenge. He travelled from place to place wearing a black cloak until his thirst for vengeance was satisfied and he came across a cave of wonders. But the thing that drew his utmost attention was a silvery-blue crystal that seemed to call out to him. The man took it for his own and he slowly began to lose his grip on reality. He looked beyond his endless anguish and saw the power within the crystal.
Driven by his insatiable revenge, he tried to use the crystal to take over the the moon but instead it drove him mad. The power of the crystal spread like wild fire engulfing all 6 other kingdoms which were possessed by its unimaginable power, just like the man who found it. This led to the bloodiest of all battles and the destruction of Daudora.
The man’s son was some how unaffected by its influence of destruction and he saw how the power crippled his father. Distraught by the suffering it caused, he stole the Crystal from his permanently altered father and destroyed it with the dragon sword. It split up Daudora into 3 separate parts with an almighty blow, 2 of which floated off into space.
The creatures of Daudora banished all of mankind to a planet called Erth, never to return. Not a single person from Erth has ever come to the fallen moon and survived since. In turn, each one was taken to the midnight creatures in Shila where they were tortured for information before being slain by the kalute - a demon of pain and suffering, summoned during the great war.
After the war, the 6 kingdoms left swore to live in peace and the unknown power was never heard of. Some say it was a dragon’s heart and it flooded back into its soul. Some say its just a myth but there are a few who once lived in those times 100′s of years ago who know the truth. The real truth buried deep beneath the stories and folk tales.
750 years later, after the great war, a young girl appeared wearing nothing but rags and a silver stone pendant around her neck in the Forest of Katzuya near Mitala...

Hi all! Thanks for reading my prologue! It means a lot to me and I hope that you continue to read on but if it's not your kind of book then that's fine with me :) It's my first book so I'm not sure how good it will be but lets give it a go!
