Chapter 1 : The Kidnapping

The banging of the great doors of church were loud echoing down the hall. The sunlight shone through to coloured windows of the church. The church was old and abandoned for a long time so it got quite dusty. The banging of the doors got louder.

'It was a run down church anyway. Even if they damage anything it is not my fault.' I thought to myself slowly packing my stuff into my bag.

I lived in this old church for only a week before I have to move again. They were after me. I was a run away ,never fitted into society, no, I was different ,much more different.

As the banging got louder, I hurriedly stuffed every I could into my bag as much as I wanted to stay here longer, I could not let them catch me, no matter what.

'The door should hold long enough.' I thought to myself.

Smash!

I spoke too soon.

A hand smash though the door ,that was it I ran as fast I could away from them. Soldiers shouting and yelling at to stop but I turn a deaf ear. I jumped from the first floor to the second second floor balcony with ease. By then the soldiers came running in. I turned to stare at them, one of them pointed up at me.

"Hey there she is open fire!" The soldiers said.

I smiled at them, thinking that I could get away.

They were shooting at me with bullets. I ducked down to avoid being hit, the shooting was loud, too loud, I tried my best to cover my ear while running.

A shape pain hit my thigh, I fell face foward hitting my head on the pillar nearby. It took a while for my vision to clear before the full wave of agony hit me.

My victory was short lifted.

"Shit, they got me, that hurt. "I cursed, biting my tongue as hard as I can.

The bullet must have hit me when I was trying to duck ,not aware that I got hit.

I cluch my thigh holding back my scream, but I could not. I screamed in pain, my voice echoed through the church, I tried to lift myself up but the pain was unbearable.

It been a while since I had this kind of pain.

"We got her ,hold her down." I heard one of the soldiers say.

At the corner of my eye, I saw a few soldiers closing in towards me cautiously.

I felt a gust of wind again my neck, I reach out to feel what it was. I put it out from my neck. A needle, with a red feather of stort, it was familiar feeling,a tranquilizer.

Dizziness was overwhelming me, my eyelids felt heavy ,I could not keep them open, my will was too weak. I tried to crawl away, but I felt arms frimly holding me down.

Shit, game over for me.

Slowly the muffled voices of the men slowly faded away. Finally, my tired body can finally rest, after all those running away.

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
