Zone 0

Year 2023, a zombie outbreak happens worldwide. At Japan, a group of mercenary is hired by the government to investigate Zone 0, the most mysterious and dangerous zone to visit. Many scientist and soldiers were sent there, none of them came back…human. The mercenaries are sent by the government to the zone to rescue a scientist who claims he has discovered a cure to the virus.

The group of mercenaries consists of 4 individual that include Nicholas Nova, DJ Universal, Star Raven and Guy. They step foot on the area during sunrise for better sights over the walking dead. The plan is to get out before the sunset. When they went into the zone, a town decorated with blood and gore greets them. The area looks a lot worse than most zombie infested area. Guy, being a former Marine, notices a bloody footprint of giant deformed leg. He warns the other about how different the zombies in this area are. In the heart of the zone, a man runs frantically towards them. The man runs past them and behind him is a horde of mutated zombies. They outrun the horde and meet the man, already fully mutated into a zombie. Raven puts him down silently with his butterfly knife to avoid alarming the horde.

They move on deep inside the zone to get to the underground lab barricaded by the scientist. They move quietly throughout the zone until they realize that their path is blocked by a bunch of zombies. Raven throws a sound grenade to another part of the zone to attract the attention of the zombies to another area. They safely slip past through them. As the sunset arrive, Nicholas reports to the outside team about the how long it would take for them to finish the mission. He orders the others to find a grocery shop to take shelter from the night.

They did find a grocery store but they soon realize it was infested by zombies after being inside it. Nicholas orders them to split into a group of two and clear up two sides of the store.

Nicholas : DJ you are on me. Raven and Guy, you clear the right side of this store.

Each of them carries a knife as a melee weapon and a signature firearm representing their skill and personality. Nicholas carries a Desert Eagle, DJ carries a Berretta, Guy carries a silenced UMP pistol and Raven is equipped with sound bombs and a Cobra.

Nicholas and DJ scouts their area and it is clear from any threats. As for Raven and Guy, they lead the horde of zombies toward them. They clear of the horde by releasing a barrage of bullets. After that, night falls and they have dinner with the foods stocked in the store.

In the middle of the night, the floor they slept on collapse. They woke up in front of an unlocked steel vault. They went inside and discover that it is empty. They investigate the room and Nicholas accidentally pushed the bulging country of Malaysia on the globe found at the center of the vault space.

A staircase is formed beneath their feet, leading to a door. Guy closes the door to the steel vault to make sure no zombies went into the vault. They regroup and open the door. Inside, the young scientist is seen sleeping on the floor while her young female assistant is sleeping on a bed.

DJ politely shook the scientist, Kagamine Len, to wake him up. Ian wakes up his assistant, Kagamine Rin, which is revealed to be his little sister. The have a cup of tea while planning their escape.

Nicholas: I suggest we escape in the night. The zombies vision is the lowest in the

night. Guy will explain.

Guy: I checked the map of the city and their situation in the morning while we

walk through it. There’s a lot of isolated ally we can use that leads us

outside of the this area. The heart of this area is also clear because of the

sound bomb Raven threw to another area. The zombies are still far way

according to me and Nicholas’s calculations.

The others agree to their plan and it will be started in a few minutes after Len collects all the samples he need. They head out of the place using another route. Along the way, they got chased by another horde of a more aggressive zombies. Rin falls down and the others release another barrage of bullets while Nicholas helps her up. With her injured legs, Nicholas does a princess carry to help her out.

They hide in an alley while the horde passes them. After Raven makes sure the surrounding is clear, they continue their journey out of the place. With caution, they successfully made it out of there before sunrise. Arriving outside, Nicholas puts a blushing Rin down to be check by the medics. Len is sent to a secured laboratory to continue his research on the virus.

As for Nicholas and the rest of the crew of Panic Station, they retire back to their headquarters. While on the trip back to their HQ, Nicholas is teased by the others about how surprisingly close he became with Rin after spending a short time with her. DJ gave him her phone number to the fascination of the others and the confusion of Nicholas. It is revealed that Len gave him the phone number to give to Nicholas at the request of his sister. Nicholas ends the topic by saying…

Nicholas: I’ll ask her out after we’re done with all of this.

The others cheer and support Nicholas’s decision and their chit-chats continue as the sun rises up. Thus, closing another zombie apocalypse related mission for Panic Station while a bigger problem emerges.
