The Whopper

The Whopper

One day there were two men sitting on a park bench. Each was boasting about accomplishments they had achieved over the years and different things they had done trying to impress the other one. After covering children, wives, finances, and toys they then moved on to other things trying to outdo each other at each turn. The stories of course became more embellished as time went on until they both looked at each other and chuckled.

Realizing they had got a little carried away and being a little embarrassed they stopped talking for a second to get a breath of air.

In an instant a young man that had been sitting close listening spoke up and said " Those were some great stories and I have enjoyed listening to them" Now if you will please allow me to repay the favor" " I would like to share a little story with you.

I can't have full conversations with them as I've only memorized like 50 words but I thought this story was cute and it ...

Heika van Walderveen: I had to get used to the style. It’s a lot of switching and getting back into the story of the characters. Also the different timelines were a bit confusing in the beginning. But once you’re used to it, it’s really quite original. The plot is good, but it’s only book 1 (out of 3), but so far so good...
