Marly (Almir Leka), a rising name in Albanian music industry
His artistic name is Marly, but very few also know him by his real name - Almir Leka. At the age of 23, the Albanian boy, stands out as one of the mos prominent names of Albanian music. His passion for music stands out at an early age, since he got his first guitar, on which he started arranging cover version of popular songs, but his career as a singer and a songwriter started at the age of 16, with the first record deal with a major national production label - Gmaj7Productions. In his journey, there are numbered many collaborations, but the most notable are the ones with Sant (Santilen Mjeshtri), with whom he started a hip hop duo named “Sant&Marly” that went on to be a big success in the country with number one hits such as “Ne Yo”, “Hola”, “Casa de Papel”, and with Devis Xherahu who featured on his number one hit “Me Pelqen Ajo”, and later on “Per Ty Mbarova”. During his career, Marly alongside with his music partner Sant, have also written and composed various songs for other famous singers. In 2019 they decide to interrupt their collaboration with Gmaj7Productions and started their own journey as indipendent artist. Their fame in Albania is well represented as the turnouts in concerts are always plausible and their events almost happen to be sold out in the first two days of announcments.
