Prologue
A soft ocean breeze blew as three people walked down a pure white sand beach with purplish waves crashing against it. The silhouette of three people walk the length of the sandy beach slowly while conversing loudly. Figure one yells loudly “THEN,” he pauses and regains composure, “then the threat must be dealt with Amaterasu.” “Well how do you propose we do that Zeus,” The girl Zeus addressed as Amaterasu replies, “We can’t face this problem head on we’ll be destroyed we’re the last three left alive. Odin isn’t even in the counsel of three.” she pointed at the last figure a elderly man with an eye patch.
He sits there head down and silent. Zeus continues talking proposing ideas, “I think we should do the sunbolt combo. It could work, sure it has a downside but it could stop this all!” Amaterasu stays calm and speaks with a serious tone. “Zeus, that will not only kill the plague that is killing us but will also kill the mortal realm and the land of elves.”
Zeus scoffs not caring “Well who-” he gets cut off by a loud yell that fills the silent land. They both look behind them and Odin is there his head up in the sky cracks forming in his skin turning it a dark gray as a black mist comes from the cracks. Odin looks at them and his eyes turn blood red and get filled with this lust for blood. His teeth grow sharp along with his nails he looks around and growls moving with speed almost the same as a lightning god's speed of around 750 mph.
Odin catches Zeus off guard getting behind him and shoving his hand through Zeus heart. Zeus looks down at his chest seeing blood drip from the gray hand that protrudes from it. He realizes what has happened but it's too late. He coughs up blood and looks at Amaterasu and whispers something and his mouth opens. A blue orb that is covered in a foggy storm type arua comes out of his body and Zeus’s body slumps forward. Amaterasu gasps and cries a little and rushes forward grabbing the orb and absorbing it into her body.
Odin rips his hand out of Zeus’s chest making the body fly down to the ground and hit it with a small thump. Amaterasu runa down the beach whispering incantations as Odin chases her on all fours like a dog. Odin eventually catches her pinning her down on the ground yelling and starts using his nails to start destroying her chest ripping her apart. As she’s dying she breathes out one last incantation and says a name. “Divine gift of all gods soul bind. You’re...our..last..hope.” Her body starts to glow brightly with a warmth coming from it. She closes her eyes and thousands of orbs start to leave her body all with their own unique color and aura. As the auras leave her body a mark appears on her forehead and golden cracks start to form around her head. She screams in pain as the last or leaves from her mouth instead of the other places the orbs left. Once it leaves her it joins the rest of the orbs that rest along the purplish water and Amaterasu Catches on fire and explodes in a black blaze destroying herself and Odin.
As the black flames burn endlessly the orbs start to pass through the water crossing into multiple realms passing through them. All the worlds that get affected by these orbs get showered in a divine light. People stare in awe at the orbs as they start to float towards the ground but that's when it begins. The orbs start looking for a host for them and use the humans as vessels. The obs enter people but most people can’t handle the power of the orbs and start to explode into a bloody mess, bleed out, or complete get fried internally. The one who survives the new event in history deemed “the heavenly massacre” falls into comas ranging from 1 week to 3 months.
Cities, towns, places all over the world fill with dead bodies, coma patients, and bloody messes. Hospitals fill up rooms and morges fill with new bodies. The world falls into chaos and after a few weeks everything settles down. Government workers come to the hospitals and take all the coma patients awake and asleep.
Time passes and a group of people start to wake up. Most cooperate with the government but there are some who rebel escaping from the government. Those who escape go into hiding out of fear of the government and themselves. The people who stay in these facilities are brought into “The Divine Alpha Program”.
