Chapter 1

The cold, hard wind blew against my face as I stared into the deep sky, where curiosity and wonder searches me. I still ponder about what would have happened if I was just there for her at the right moment, but it’s no use, she will never have the life that she was robbed from ever again which is what makes me so anxious and furious.

“It’s just horrible and infuriating that someone could be as sly and phsycotic as this and get away with something this insane.” I said while staring Into the cloudy blue sky wondering where she could be.

“There will be justice for Amora, one day they will suffer uncontrollably the way she did.”

She was my best friend, the one person that I could turn to and wouldn’t judge me for what I had to say, instead she would support and care for me. But it all went down hill in the summer of 2007 when Amora and I went hiking on our trip to the Larapinta trail in Australia on the 14th of February. That’s when I woke up into a complete state of shock when I couldn’t move or open my mouth to say a single word, I laid there for hours until I started to slowly gain my senses.

Then that was the moment that I realised Amora was gone. I searched and searched for her but she was no where to be found. I had tried to call authorities, but there was no service at all until three day had passed, when a young couple had found me and taken me back to The hotel I was staying at. That’s when everything turned downhill.

“The police showed up at my door with horrific news and a books worth of questions.” Amora’s body had been found in a barrel soaked in acid at a nearby forest. Many suicidal deaths happened there and unfortunately the authorities just assumed Amora was one of them, until they found other traces of blood in and on her body and her teeth were scattered everywhere. The odd thing was that her clothes were completely clean so the killer killed her without any clothes then put her clothes back on.

“It’s now been four years since any new leads. But I’m not giving up.”

“I have been searching Amora’s file for the past 4 years now and nothing new has come up. I have been dying to go to the forest where she was found to try and get some more closure about her murder, but it’s now been closed off ever since the incident, or at least until they marked her murder as a cold case.”

It just frustrates me how no one takes this seriously, I mean her her family has lost all hope and visits her grave everyday in sorrow.

Spencer examined the body 3 years ago and was told in the autopsy report that Amora was stabbed 7 times in her back, which called severe spinal injuries and her skull was slashed against a rock and then was strangled to her death.

One thing that she had noticed was the cut on her wrist which was not mentioned in he report, and when she confronted the doctors about it they said that they had no idea what she was talking about, and that there was no wound on her wrist.

Spencer questioned it for a while and still has it on her mind.

She receives a blocked number on her phone. She answers it. “ hello, who is this.” She said. “If you want to a clue into her death, meet me at the fitzroyal theatre tomorrow 6:00 sharp.”

Spencer had no idea who this was but she agreed. “I might finally be able to solve her murder and give her family the closure they need and the relief that I need.”
