I quickly run to the bus stop almost dropping my books on the way. I had missed my alarm and woke up 30 minutes before my first day of college, the cherry on top was the bus comes every freaking 15 minutes. Great job Destiny your day can't possibly get any worse than this, but oh boy was I wrong.
As I get on the bus I notice that there are no seats open meaning I have to stand. I slither my way to the back of the bus and stand by the door. On my way, I hear a tear, I look down to see my dress had caught on a rough-edged handle, leaving a big slit in my dress. Jesus and on the one day I don't have a jacket. I try my best to cover it with my bag as I leave the bus but realize I have no time since class literally already started, I sprint to clas getting weird eyes from the people around me. Great job Destiny what a great first impression. I find the room after walking around the big campus for 15 minutes and try my best to open the doors quietly but no these had to be some damn ass squeaky doors because everyone turns around. Then I hear a giggle from the front of the room then a million giggles erupt. I know I'm late but I didn't know it was that funny. Then the professor quiets them down. He looks me up and down before telling me in a criticizing voice, " You do know there is a dress code, don't come into my class late, and half-dressed." My face turns a crimson red when I remember the freaking big ass slit in my dress great. I try my best to cover it with no luck. I get ready to run out of the room. When I hear moaning, I look up to see a kid in the back on his phone, with the indecent sound blaring at top volume. I start to hear laughter and notice I'm not the only one who heard it. I take this as an opportunity to sit down, happy the attention is off me. The teacher quickly scolds him, I feel bad for him since it is only the first day. We continue with the lesson, I take a glance at the guy in the back when I see two striking greyish blue eyes staring back. I quickly look down not able to hide the blush crawling up my cheek. Knowing already that this is going to be an interesting year.
