The night before/going into the morning.
I’m sorry. So So sorry. No. Ugh I screwed up the letter and mostly my life. I picked my paper up and threw it in the trash. He won’t forgive you claire just move on already Ugh. Ok so as you can already tell my name is Claire, Claire Woodson. I am 16 almost 17. I have an older brother named Braxton, he is 21. We have a good brother-sister relationship, I even call him my best friend at times. I used to have a boyfriend his name is Alec but he said I kept lying to him and not opening up. But I am sorry that I can’t open up to some people you know? It is something I can not control, I have been through so much. My dad dies when I am 5 and I have been making friends but then losing them a few days later. I can barely trust anyone anymore. Braxton says I should just leave Alec alone and not write him. I stop thinking about Alec and I get up from the desk and since I have my pajamas on already I go over to my bed and lay down an cover myself. I go into a deep sleep. -Morning- I get out of my bed and go to my closet. I choose a light pink shirt and blue jeans. I then brush my long brunette hair. I go to sit at my desk and I go into my thoughts. What if Alec was still dating me? What if Alec and I never met. Why is my dad dead?; it could’ve been anybody but my dad had to die since a drunk driver crashed into him. I get out of my thoughts by my mom saying breakfast is ready. Yay breakfast! I go downstairs and see my mom and Braxton. Braxton: “Hey little sis.” Me: “Hey Brax.” We hug. My Mom: “Aw I love your guys sweet relationship.” Braxton and I laugh. Braxton: “Thanks ma.” My Mom: “I made you guys chocolate chip pancakes and bacon.” Braxton: “Yes! Mom you know I love my bacon.” He bites into a piece of bacon. We all just laugh. After we are done eating we all get up and help our mom with the dishes since we love her so much and she has done nothing but help us live our lives so here we are helping her out. My mom: “Thank you for helping me out kids ever since your father died I have been nothing but stressed and sad.” Braxton: “Maybe you should go out and date.” Me: “Braxton! You can’t just say that.” My Mom: “No honey it is ok and maybe your brother is right. So I might go out and look for a date or maybe I can go on a dating app.” Braxton laughs. Braxton: “You do whatever you want mom even though it may be on a dating app.” He laughs again. I just roll my eyes. Me: “Mom we just want you to be happy.” We hug her. My mom: “Aw thanks.” She hugs us back then says “Now go to school.” Braxton drives me to school since I do not have my license yet but I am going to next month since every month we have to take our drivings test. Last time I failed since I backed up into a tree on accident. Oops mistakes happen. We arrive at my school which is Merona High School and on the sign in front it says Home of the Fox! So yeah.Me: “By Brax see you after school.” Braxton: “Bye sis have a good day and if anyone be’s mean to you today tell a teacher or just ask if you can call me.” Me: “Ok bye.” I leave and head into school. I go and see my friends Xavi and Jacelyn. Well I call him Xavi for short is name is Xaviender (ZAY- VEN- DER). (ZAY VEE) ^. Jacelyn: “Hey girlll how are you.” I laugh. Me: “I am good, how are you girl.” Jacelyn: “I am wonderful, I went to this party two days ago and it was fun. I got drunk then made out with a cute guy.” Xavi: “That is nice Jace.” Jacelyn: “I KNOW RIGHT?!” Xavi and I laugh. The bell rings so we go to our lockers and grab whatever we need for class. I have Science first hour so I grab my science notebook and folder, book. I get to class on time too. I choose to sit in front since I want to and I do not care if someone yells at me except for our teacher which is Mr Wes. He does not take anything. He is a serious guy and like if you do something wrong he will write you up unless you can back up what you were doing and why. The bell rings as Mr Wes starts teaching the lesson. Mr Wes gives us a worksheet and we have to come up with our own answers but some we can search online. I raise my hand. Mr Wes: “Yes Ms Woodson?” Me: “I have a question on number 4.” Mr Wes: “Come up here and ask your question.” I get out of my desk while some of the popular girls like Mindy glare at me. Me: “Ok how does this (I point to the question) go with this (I point to the evidence it gives).” Mr Wes: “Well you see the Evidence goes with the question and you have to give a reasonable answer that sums up the evidence with the answer to the question in it. Does that make sense Ms Woodson?” Me: “Yes sir thank you.” He nods his head and then says “Thank you for being a good student.” I go back to my desk and since there are 12 questions I get done pretty quick since I write fast but my handwriting neat. I turn it in at the end of class. The bell rings for 2nd hour. I have Literacy with Mr Casey. He is super nice, and super cute, and super young. He is like 24 or 25. But I do not like teachers like that, it is super gross. Mindy, She loves hitting on teachers. She does it every day it gets annoying but then I barely pay attention to that bitch. I go to my locker again and put my science away and grab my literacy notebook and a book to read. I close my locker than I walk down the hall to Literacy. I get to the class on time once again and I go an sit in my assigned seat which is close to the front but close to the middle as well so in between. I sit next to Kaden James and my best friend Xavi also known as Xaviender. Xavi: “So how was science and what do we do?” Xavi has science 3rd hour soo after this. Me: “We get a stupid worksheet.” Xavi: “Damn was it that bad?” Me: “Eh it was alright.” He nods. The bell rings and Mr Casey has us start reading our books right away. After a few minutes of us reading on our own we again go over Plagiarism and Journalism. Mr Casey: “Also today we will be doing a book report, you and a partner of my choosing (The students say ugh and stuff) will have to read a book that I give you the write the report.” “The partners are Julia and Tony doing Julius Caesar,Xaviender and Nicole doing Hamlet,Claire and Rowan doing Romeo and Juliet, Elsia and Derrick doing Macbeth, Zaria and Jessiva doing King Lear, Joanna and Zack doing The Tempest, Lucas and Ashley doing Twelfth night, Bianca and Kyle doing Othello; Get with your partners now.” I felt bad for Xavi because 1 he had to work with Nicole (Nicole has a HUGE crush on him) 2 He has to watch Elsia and Derrick do a project together, Xavi for the longest time has liked Elsia. Elsia noticed Xavi before but not fully so like a glance or whatever. Rowan: “So we are doing Romeo and Juliet would Alec get jealous?” He smirks. Me: ” No because we broke up duh.” I roll my eyes. Rowan Michaels is one of the biggest players at Merona High. He is so popular and gets girls. One of the girls in this class he has slept with, It was Bianca but he also slept with Mindy Anderson. Gross. Rowan is also best friends with Alec. ugh. “So you’re single.” He smirks again. Me: “Yeah...so what?” Rowan: “Maybe I can hook you up with one of my friends.” Me: “No thanks, I am good with being single right now.” No I am not. Rowan: “Are you sure? My offer still stands.” Me: “I am sure, anyway when do you want to get started with this whole project.” Rowan: “Hm let me see how about after school.” Me: “Ok, so will we meet up after school or what?” Rowan: “At 5:30 cause I have some things to take care of plus I don’t need the school seeing us together.” I nod. The bell rings and I gather up my stuff and close my notebook. Xavi: “That was terrible,like I have to see Elsia with that Derrick and she deserves more than him as her partner because you know how he likes to play around with girls like Rowan an I just feel so bad for her since I like her. She is so beautiful,her long brown hair,her green eyes, Oo her smile too it is so cute and when she blushes it is adorable.” I just look at him while he is ranting about Elsia. “Oh am I ranting? Sorry I did not notice.” Xavi blushes. I laugh. Me: “It’s Ok Xaviender." Xavi: "Don't call me that." He hits me lightly on the arm. We just laugh about it and go our separate ways to 3rd hour. Jacelyn: "Hey girlie how was 2nd hour with Xavi?" Me: "Well it was good until Mr Casey gave us our partners." Jacelyn: "Was it really that bad?" Me: "YES because I have to be partners with Rowan and Xavi had to watch Elsia be partners with Derrick then after class it was funny because all Xavi did was rant on and on about Elsia." Jacelyn laughs. Jacelyn: "Damnn I feel bad for you both but after that was hilarious." We just laugh. Me: "I also feel bad for Xavi because of that and his partner is Nicole." Jacelyn: "Nicole Kamers? As in the girl who has a huge crush on our friend Xaviender right?" Me: "Yeah." Jacelyn: "That is going to be hell. Wait we are in hell already so he is going to be in hell 2 times. I feel bad." She then laughs. I look at her like why-are-you-laughing-no one-said-anything-funny. Me: "Why are you laughing." Jacelyn: "Can't I laugh for no reason god mom!" We laugh. SKIP TO LUNCH :)
Jacelyn,Xavi, and I go back to our lockers and put our things away and grab our phones. We then meet up at the doors close to the cafeteria. Xavi: "Science was good but soo boring." Me: "Stop complaining, it was just a worksheet calm down." Jacelyn: "I agree calm down boi." Xavi: "Shut up you two." He hits us both lightly. Jacelyn and I laugh. We all walk into the cafeteria and get in line for lunch.
