We all like to think we’d help those in need, but could you constantly put your life and sanity on the line just to protect people you don’t even know? Well she did. In fact, it was sadly her purpose. Like most teenagers who have lost someone, Lucy fell into a less than preferred lifestyle. She had her troubles, like everyone else. But her problems were bigger than she thought, and led to a lot more anguish than she would have liked. See, living under the shadow of great expectations leaves a strain on your self-esteem. Going through a massive revelation could ruin your life and test your limits. The burning pain of sacrifice, loss and death should kill her. The gods saw something in Lucy for a reason, one she just needs to find through a tortuous journey with a bit of clawing, biting and changing. Love will blossom, relationships will be repaired, and her resilience will prevail.
