I woke up in a meadow with the sun beating down on my face another nightmare with no ending, and the song still echoed in my head ..... what could all this mean?....
.....9 years later...
Josh: "Tillie you let the dogs in again if you do it again we might get fired you know the head master doesnt like these ravage animals!!" -he scoffs as he looks me up and down and frowns for what I am wearing apparently he disproves of-
I sigh knowing that I will never escape this hell that I choose on that fateful night, why why why did I have to fall for such an evil man! Though is gaze was tempting and inviting for me to just come in and embrace it all, his stance warned me that it be the wrong idea if I ever thought of leaving.....why must one be so torn between lust and trust for I did not trust the way he scowled at me nor did I think I would have to worry about what might happen if I didnt trust him..... I sigh once more as I respond to Josh now realizing I wasn't paying attention to his fashion lection...
Me: " Oh I do apologize Josh I didnt hear a thing you just said I was too busy noticing the masters ascendance into our presence you must excuse me I best be on my way to make him his delicious meal!"
I excuse myself from the room noticing that the master is now grinning at me as if it were to amuse him to have me throw Josh under the bus..... not noticing that I was still in hearing range I let out a comment: "What a Pig!", with that comment it was enough that had the master behind me so quick that I can feel my blood rush to my toes for I could feel his breath on my neck and the sting of his glare as he stands behind me like a predator about to eat his prey. I knew I miss spoke those words about the master and without hesitation I jolted forward and turned to the master my eyes filled with tears as I look at him and say "How can you take so much joy in seeing your dearest and nearest employee of 19 years be thrown at your feet for not greeting you when you came in!"
He Grinned and looked at Josh, for a split second they had the same idea come to mind and now they were both watching me as if mesmerized in a trance for an evil plan, it wasn't until the master jolted to me that I began to regret everything I had just said, everything I had ever done because for that brief period of time I saw my life flash before my eyes as I accepted the fate that was to come of me! As I waited in despair I feel his hands touch my hair as he moves it away from my ear and says: "Hush now darling I wont hurt you, you are now my bride so you must not worry!"
