"He said yes" I yelled to brooke. "What? Tell me everything about it right now!" Said brooke. I continued, "so, he was alone in the hallways and I gathered my shit and then i walked up to him and began the conversation with a 'hey' he asked how everything was going and I said it was fine and then I finally asked if he had a prom date! He said many girls have asked him but he's interested in only one girl!". "Ahh, this is getting juicier" screamed brooke in excitement. "Then I asked him if he wanted to go to prom with me and he said he would love to! Ahh!" I said in major excitement. But brooke she was in a shock. A MAJOR SHOCK. she didn't expect all this to happen. Also, I forgot to introduce myself.
Hi! My name is Peyton young. I love playing basketball. I love sketching too. Yeah, I don't have many hobbies but I also love reading. My girl best friend is brooke. She's basically the "LOML". Also yes the guy I just asked to prom has been my crush forever, like FOREVER. And he finally made a sign.
"Peyton, I want that last piece, give that to me!" Yelled Sam, being annoyed by me. We were fighting over pizza. Yes obviously I took the last piece. "Sorry too late!" I screamed taking a big bite out of the piece!". "Ughh you always do that. I hate you!" Said Sam. "I hate you too." Said I eating the pizza.
Also I forgot to introduce you to Sam Scott. My best friend since kindergarten. We have always been together. No, we are not dating, we are BEST FRIENDS. Yes,We live together. Why? You will get to know that in the next few chapters. So stay tuned. "So have you bought your prom dress yet?" Asked Sam drinking coke. "No. I will buy it today." I said. "You have a date to prom? I heard you asked Adrian Lopez out.." asked Sam to me. "Yeah I am going with adrian.." said I. ADRIAN LOPEZ was the crush of every girl in school. And I can't believe he, ADRIAN LOPEZ, the hottest and most charming guy in school was going to prom with me.
I felt weird about what i was doing. Every year on prom me and Sam would go together as friends to accompany each other but this time it was different. I felt bad for him because he didn't have a prom date. Also, he said he wasn't even sure if he was going now. So I did what i had to do.
"Brooke i need your help!" I yelled to brooke. I explained to brooke that I was going with adrian but I felt bad for sam didn't have a date so I asked brooke "who will he go with?" Brooke exclaimed, " See, I should have said this to you this before but megan has a crush on Sam and she is going to ask him tonight.." said brooke. "Oh" was just what I said. I was out of words. Megan, like seriously? Whatever. Who cares. I said "I will talk to u later I gotta go now" said I to brooke. I cut off the phone immediately thinking would Sam say yes to megan? Will they go together?
After a while, when me and Sam were talking he had a call and the name was "Megan♥️" I don't know why I was feeling this. Sam has never dated anyone before and neither me.
They were talking about something in the phone when Sam said "idk I am kinda in love with someone else rn", he said thinking I wouldn't hear him. Not gonna lie I had butterflies in my stomach. Sam cut the call first saying goodbye to her and I asked him immediately "who was it?" "Megan" he said. "What does she want?" I asked, knowing she asked him to prom. "She asked me to go to prom with her.." "oh, so your going with megan?" I asked. He said "I am not sure yet, idk if i want to. What do u say? Should I go with her?". I said yes because obviously I wanted him to explore more and not just spend time with me.
