Short Story

I’ve been thinking about my future. In fact, I’ve been thinking about my future my whole life. As a kid, you know, from like the age of three to maybe seven I had the craziest dreams of what I wanted to become, and it changed every week. I remember I once wanted to become a cow really badly. I understood later on that being a cow is probably really boring and I was crafty, so I changed my mind. I wanted to become a dentist. Now, that thought stayed in my head all of elementary school. It stopped when I actually went to the dentist and noticed that they didn’t do anything crafty (in my mouth at least).

Nowadays I’ve shifted my attention toward architectural design and law. They are both pretty large branches, which I like because challenging oneself is really important. Another reason being that I’m not so keen on becoming stupid as I get older. And it’s completely my brains fault that I feel this way. I mean for one, they’re the one throwing all my important unnecessary things away. And two, they’re the one making me think about all this.

(read: I’m referring to my brain as ‘they’)

In the future I want to be everything, including everything between the tiniest of quarks to the galaxy which holds all other galaxies.
