Counterplay

John was a witty and hardworking person who was always passionate to start his own venture. He thought his ideas can revolutionize the automobile industry and had plans to get them on board. He then forms a team of four and starts working on it. He chose Harry, Peter, and Lucifer as the members of his team. Harry and Peter were equally passionate, smart and hard-working as him, but Lucifer was laggard and pessimistic but had good money and contacts, so he chose him in his team. They thought this was their ticket and they should take it.

As they dreamt, they turned super successful and their company stood first in the market. They made billions! They enjoyed the success as a group of three and Lucifer was totally ignored. They treated him as a weak person and never respected his decisions. Once, they noticed that Lucifer was into some illegal acts and if this gets out, it would affect the company’s prestige. They reported to the cops, got him arrested and threw him out of the company. He leaves the company by saying “I will never forget what you have done to me, I’ll be bloody back”. He leaves and then admitted the drug offense he was into. He was then behind the bars.

The three led the company and continued to be as successful as it was. A few years passed, Lucifer was released from prison. He turns rogue, and his only aim was to kill the three and take over the company. To get his job done he hires a Gangster Michael and promises to pay him tons of money. Michael has a passion for cigars, guns, and money. He was six feet tall with short brown hair and well built. He takes up the mission and asks for advance. He gets paid and then starts to plan.

On a rainy night, the three plan to meet out for dinner. Michael gets to know about it and thought that it would be the right time to kill them. They gather in an elegant restaurant, had good food and spent gala time. They return to the parking lot and then all of sudden a bullet hits peter’s right hand and he sheds blood. They push him in the car’s backseat, get into the car and rush out. Michael, in the car behind, starts chasing them and shoots continuously with his pistol, but a bullet ricocheted off and hit a pedestrian instead. He ignores this site and the stars continues speeding up. John was shocked. With his forehead sweating, he starts shifting gears and hits the accelerator to his complete strength. Harry, who was beside him, leaned out and pointed his pistol at Michael’s head. He starts shooting but the bullets do not hit at the right shot. Peter, in the back seat, starts dialing his phone. They start taking screechy turns and power jumps. They were so unconcerned with earthly consequences that they flaunt the very concept of lanes. Though almost all the vehicle tires are blown out, it just doesn’t seem to care. It’s still speeding along. Suddenly there was a loud bang. John struggled with the steering wheel but the car skidded off the wet road, slammed into a stone wall and then started rolling. John and Harry struggled and got off the car. They see peter’s head dripping with blood on his forehead. They leave him there and start running. Michael reaches the spot and sees peter in the car and the other two running. Michael gets off the car, takes his gun, pulled the trigger and shot at peter’s head. The water around him turns all red. He then starts running and tries to hunt the other two.

Harry’s left leg hits a rock, starts bleeding, but he continues hopping with his right leg. Michael reaches harry, aims at him and kills him in one stroke by hitting a headshot. Michael now starts searching for John, the only one left. He searches for him for a long time but was not able to find him. He lost hope and starts returning to his car. Then he hears a sound and turns around. He found John running, he then aims at him and was about to pull the trigger. But all of sudden he experiences a bash. A car hits him from the back and other cars surround him. It was the cops. Michael gets on his knees, puts his gun down and raises his hand.

Then the kids shouted ′ Oh F**K, that was too close”, as the screen showed ‘Busted, Mission failed’.
