Warm hands stroked down my back, caressing and moving from my shoulder to my hip where it firmly grasped the bone. The hand was familiar, a wide palm and hard calloused fingers with a soft touch. I smiled into my pillow. Finally. Will was here.

After our first few days apart on the full moon, willfully dragged away from the caves by my mother’s threats and the promises of answers, I went through the same jitters and shakes I had experienced the first time. Except with this second moon, I felt like I was a coke addict going through withdrawals. When I wasn’t sleeping fitfully, my blood was either on fire or dunked in ice water. My body was screaming at me for something I didn’t understand for the full three days and gave me hell for denying it.

Not for the first time, I regretted leaving Will behind to follow my mother into that black sedan. He had calmed my body down that first time and satiated it for whatever it was I needed. He could have done it again. But my desire for answers and bringing my cousin’s baby back to her mother was stronger than any craving for him at the time.

A few days after my decision and our dramatic departure, when the moon had passed and the fire in my blood vanquished, my brain had started giving me erotic dreams of the man. Something I hadn’t confronted yet had called for him, something that wanted him more than it wanted out. And now, he finally had come.

The bedroom my mother had led me to after our long flight to Italy had a large window facing West, away from the morning sun. My eyes opened to it, showing the first hints of dawn breaking through the night, light was slowly filling the room.

The hand rubbed my hip bone, grasping it tighter, promising more. How was he here? How did he get past my mother’s wards on this little farm in the Italian hills? His clutch was hard, carnal, I quickly decided I didn’t care and shouldn’t ask questions when I didn’t want the answers.

I slid back into him, pressing into his erection and instinctively arching deeper into that hold. His voice whispered into my ear as he brushed my hair away.

“Kelly…”

His firm hand wandered around to my stomach and lower, cupping me intimately. I tilted my head back into his breath at my ear.

“Mmhmm?”

Those wide, broad hands pulled me deeper into him and the forceful hand slipped between my legs, prying the top one up and back over his thigh. Fingers tiptoed across my warm skin around the outside of my thigh and in, deeper. I groaned in pleasure. How long has it been since Will touched me like this? Two weeks? Two and a half?

Eternity.

His hand was at the apex of my thigh and center and he lightly trailed a finger along my core, teasing.

“Kelly…” he murmured again, quietly not to wake anyone else in the house, but enough to rouse my libido. I grabbed his hand that was nearly inside me and pushed it further in,

“Mmhmm?” The only response my brain could provide at this moment.

I felt his chin brush my ear lobe and the stubble on it played havoc with my nerves. Fingers touched me and went inside, rubbing and circling.

“Kel… come back to me.”

My eyes whipped open to see the window now in total darkness. I bolted up, feeling tense, wanting, unsatisfied, and very much alone in my bed. I looked across at the radio clock now showing ’2:05’am.

I fell back onto the pillow and screamed frustration into its feathers.

I was so fucking fucked, just not literally.
