Lilienne

Summary

(Based on the song 'Lily' by Alan Walker, K-391, and Emelie Hollow) "Clever, but not clever enough.." Lilienne Adelaide Watson was a smart and cunning girl that lived inside an orphanage and was treated like a princess. She never knew why, but she couldn't muster up the courage to ask. Lilienne or Lily for short then grew curious of the outside world over time, but the owners wouldn't let her until she turned 21. Days passed, and she then grew too tired to wait and escaped from the darn orphanage, only to find out the grave problems and consequences that it would hold. Well, who would've known that the person who knows you too well is only by your side?

Point of Origin

[Narrator's Point of View]

December 31, 1995.

It was the day a beautiful girl was born into the world, a world of chaos and lies. Her name was Lilienne Adelaide Watson, Lily for short. She had green eyes and long, wavy black hair that complimented her pale white skin, she was also half English and half Korean.

But she inherited her looks from her father and her traits from her mother. Unfortunately, her own parents didn't want her although they had all the things that the newborn would need and resented each other for being the biological parents of the poor child.

There was a mischevious plan forming inside their minds and then after a few days left her on the door of a nearby orphanage before the new year came, in a small basket with a pink ribbon and a note. The orphanage welcomed Lily, but not in a way she'd like.

Lily was treated like a princess unlike the children that were before her, and no one knew why except for the owners and helpers, considering that nobody could ask them a question related to her.

She learned how to speak multiple languages as she wished and wrote as many things as she liked, as long as it was related to the lesson that the owners of the orphanage taught.

She grew up to be a clever but sly person, with kids her age avoiding her due to the 'voices' she was talking within her head. Over time they still treated her the same way—and she grew tired of it after each day passed.

Lily then longed to go outdoors for fresh air, if not for the orphanage's rules for children. She kept thinking of ways to escape, all of them failing before it was even put into place.

'Ms. Watson' as the older and younger kids called her, bullied her and called her a witch or a hag because of the voices inside her head. They took her as a mad woman; insane and crazy. Lily never took it seriously, not until they crossed the line.

When she was 13 years old, the bullies started to notice that she was ignoring them, they assaulted and harrased her with painful wounds and bruises before showering her with boiling hot water that resulted her in a third degree burn at lunchtime.

She cried with pain and rage as the burning sensation took over her whole body. The owners of the orphanage went to take care of it, punishing the bullies but the situation didn't change for her.

They took Lilienne to a private hospital and advised her to stay there for a few weeks until she regained her strength. After she recovered she only wore jeans, long sleeves and a bunny mask that covered her face from the onlookers .

Not only that, she adjusted for the others and only stayed at her new room, like she was in quarantine, but the desire or thought to go to the outside world always crossed her mind.

Lily then started to resent her parents and even questioned the voices why she had go through such hardships when sheonly ignored them and didn't care for such thing.

Days and weeks passed, and nobody ever adopted her ever since the incident, so she watched as her bullies and friends were put into gorgeous houses and rich families that wanted them.

At the age of 20, Lilienne escaped from the orphanage as she couldn't wait any longer for her 21st birthday to occur. She made an escape plan like a mob boss and finally became free when she found the forest leading to the town river, which was only behind the place she spent her whole childhood on.

'At last, I'm free!!'

She said gleefully, not knowing what outcomes and consequences her decision will hold.

Author's Note

안녕하세요 Guys and gals! This is my new story, Lily! This is apparently a short story inspired by the song 'Lily' by Alan Walker, K-391 and Emelie Hollow. It may consist of probably 20-40 chapters since it's only a short one.

Also, Lilienne's Point of View will be put in the first chapter so please wait for updates since I will every two weeks and the date format here is MM/DD/YYYY.

About the 'House of Cards', I unpublished it since I got confused with the plot that I made since it has too much action and had little to no sense if you knew.

Anyhoo have a good day rainbows!
