Introduction
What is Heaven to you? To Nona it was simply a place where she watched her superiors flit about doing their duties and where she dreamed of being assigned a charge on Earth. All she ever wanted since becoming an angel and finishing her training was to be a Guardian. Being in Heaven, to her, was a bore. Don’t get her wrong it was beautiful, it was magical, and it was perfect but what was the fun in perfection?
Her superiors always gave her “the look” when she would day dream, knowing what she was thinking and giving their highest disapproval. It wasn’t until Samuel, her personal guidance counselor of sorts, came to her that her mundane routines were interrupted. Was it for better or for worse? Well that has to do with your definition of heaven. For her, it was both Heaven and Hell.
Getting assigned to Avery James was the best thing that’s every happened to her, but it left her playing a very dangerous game with death and well...Death in the very flesh..er bone?
