Chapter 1: Welcome Back
“Ugh Milla! Why do you have to go so soon?” Caroline whines as my aunt approaches behind her.
“I know. But my parents are making me leave, they don’t want to stay for too long, plus I’ve been here for two years.” I said sadly.
Ever since freshman year when I was bullied everyday, I decided to move here and mom allowed me.
“You better miss me when you leave!” My aunt said. She looked like she was about to cry.
“Of course I will miss you! Both of you.”
Flash back
Today was my last day here, walking through the halls of Brensall High school. Hopefully I can convince my mom to stay with aunt for the rest of the High school year.
“Get out of my way bitch.” I turned around. It was Macey and her group of friends.
“Uh I-I’m Sorry.” I squeaked. I was pretty much terrified of them. Considering the fact that they had bullied me everyday since the beginning of freshman. They were also freshman’s too.
“Uhm yeah you better be!” And she slammed my books onto the floor.
I went down and picked my books back up. As soon as they left, I let out a relieved sigh.
End of flash back
As soon as I knew it, I was back in my old town. The reason why I left wasn’t just because of Macey. It was because of my parents too.
They were always too busy for something to ever listen to my problems. I may seem like I sound selfish but I promise I’m not.
I never told them about my school problems. They were tired everyday when I got off school. Mom was a doctor while dad is a lawyer. They barely ever had time for me.
But while I stayed with my aunt and her daughter Caroline who was a year younger than me all the way across the country.
You see, I live in upstate New York while they live in Seattle.
And as a matter of fact, I had changed. Like a lot. My acne had was now at this point kinda vanished up so my face is clear. I wear makeup but barely. And a change in style. Also I’m much more confident now in defending myself
And now I’m back for senior year. At brensall High.
As I opened the door to my house, mom and dad surprised me at the front door.
“Oh my gosh sweetie! It’s so good to see you, I’ve missed you a lot.” Mom and dad both said. They seemed so happy.
“And look at you! You’ve grown so much taller.” Dad added. I gave both of them a hug. I was 5’6 now.
“Yes I know. I have missed you both so much.” It was true, although they never listen to me, they were still my parents.
“Come inside! We’ve been waiting for you. Dinner is starting.”

You know what I hate? Well besides Macey?
Alarm clocks
They disturb your sleep when you need it.
I fell asleep at 4 am yesterday and it’s 6:30am.
I got up and got dressed with blue denim ripped jeans with a black crop top. Also with a grey zip up sweater along with my white Air Force 1s.
After getting ready, I went downstairs into the kitchen.
“Mom? Dad?” I yelled. No one. Just silence.
Great, they have already gone to work.
I went over to the counter as I saw something sticking up. A post it note
We love you sweetie! Hope you have a great day at school today and there is cereal in the cabinet.

I took the cereal and the milk carton.
As I was eating, I couldn’t help but wonder; what would happen if I went back? Would they reconigze me?
I stopped thinking about it. And I also heard there were volleyball tryouts today for girls. I quickly went up stairs to grab my volleyball things and headed out into my car.
The drive to school was about 5 minutes, it wasn’t too long.
As I got out and found a parking spot, everyone looked at me like I was “new”.
Of course they wouldn’t have recognized me. I was supposingly “ugly” , that was said by Macey of course.
“Well, well, well. Look who’s back? Milla lee.” It was macey, I knew her voice.
I turned around.
“Why the sudden change bitch?” She said with disgust in her voice.
I did nothing to her and she still talks to me like that?
I didn’t reply. I knew I should’ve but I didn’t.
Guess I wasn’t confident after all.
“Everything was going great when you transferred. And guess who took your spot when u moved? Ryder Jackson, so back off because he’s mine.” She sneered. I hated her disgusting voice.
I rolled my eyes and proceeded to walk away.
