Summary

Many teens are dragged out of their homes and taken to a facility where their having exparements done on them and the three main characters Ladonna , Pete and Casey are now hated by almost all their peers they feel as if they're going crazy. The teens hatch a plan to escape but it's going to take all their wits and courage to survive on they're own. Follow along with Ladonna as she tells you what almost destroyed her meantally , her physically and her friendship . Will they survive on their own ? Will they stay friends ?.

Chapter 5

Ladonna's log:

I got up I had breakfast got in the shower and waited for the perfect time to spring into action my plan is since Talia and Angel will be the only ones who are coming with Pete ,Casey and I we all are keeping an eye on the goons . I'm waiting for the truck to get here. The delivery guy came all the crackpots are busy. The others said they'd be happy to see us go. They really don't trust us . Angel and Pete decided that they will take turns driving . A big gory fight broke out all the teens all bruised and bloody and so we madea run for the open truck door I was riding shotgun and Angel was driving . The boys we on the floor between the seats , Casey was on Pete's lap . We drove for about 2 hours .


" Casey do you want to trade places for a while?" I asked . “ Yea if you don't mind it feels weird to sit on my brothers lap". We switched places . Pete seemed very happy now that I was on his lap. Angel put the radio on. Scars to your beautiful by Alessia Cara was playing . Then into you by Arianna Grunde . The next thing was hey there Delilah by the plain white ts . I was wonderingwhat was gonna go down how fast would the crackheads find us? I wondered if my plan was going to work . Judging by the sun I'd say it didn't take long for it to start setting . Which here in March that means that it's about 7: 00. It had been about 3 hours on the road . Pete was driving .


We eventually had been on the road for 6 hours and called it a night . It was about 10. " Can you sleep,Talia?" Casey asked. " I was trying to , what is it?not tired yet?" Talia asked Casey. " No , I'm not really tired yet I was wondering if you'd like to talk for a while , but if your too tired then that's okay I understand Talia". “ Ladonna, are you awake still?" "I don't really want to talk Casey I want to get some sleep and I want you to do the same I know why you want to stay up its okay go to sleep" I whispered . I didn't hear him until really early in the morning so I guess that Casey listened to me last night when I told him to go to sleep. I heard crying when I woke up. Casey was the one crying so I assumed that he didn't have a good night sleep . I gave him my sweater to tie around his waist.


Angel and Talia weren't in the truck as far as I could see. Pete was still sleeping . I tried to comfort Casey to make him feel a little bit better . I real was out of my comfort zone trying to comfort Casey but he could really use it . Soon enough Pete woke up and Talia and Angel were sitting with us. All five of us holding our noses . And that's with the windows down . It really smelled bad. I was wondering if Casey might be getting a bladder infection or kidney infection or both. Cause if so then that would explain why he just randomly started pissing the bed . And why it smells like something curled up and died inside Casey before he peed . He hasn't mentioned that he's in any pain. " Casey are you in any physical pain? Like your lower back or around your abdomen?" I asked . “ No not around my abdomen but my backs been killing me for almost 2 weeks now,why do you ask?" Casey asked me .

" Because you might have an infection which is a kidney or bladder infection which usually is accompanied by pain and using the bathroom more and difficulty holding it. Have you found a difference in holding it or are you going to the bathroom more?". “ Yea and so I haven't been holding it causes it's more uncomfortable and a lot harder than it was". We stayed the day parked in an abandoned field no one came after us, and found us yet. Soon we can leave and go home.
