So resolving to stop being ungrateful, she tries to be happy. That's until a man at work sneaks under her wall of indifference. Always making sure to say hi or something. Her usual bitchiness doesn't seem to put him off. She gets flustered, tries to freeze him out, but this kid doesn't seem fazed. So Ceci, starts car pooling with Angel and his roommate. Chapter 1

Running through the parking lot so she wouldn't be late, Ceci pulled back on the glass double door, right into a warm, delicious smelling, hard chest. "Where you going in such a hurry beautiful?" That voice dammit it made her imagine things she hadn't about in years! She needed to put a stop to her runaway thoughts. She looked up and once again her mind turned to the darkest fantasies. This kid had the most beautiful blue eyes, reminding her of the warm waters of her native land, Cuba. Cecilia stuttered "Uh so....sorry, I wasn't looking, I'm late. Sorry!" she squeaked. Hurrying down the hall to her bay, she sat down and started logging in. "Where the hell have you been!, her supervisor asked. Ceci just ignored him and quickly got sign on. She took her first call, dealt with it and moved to the next call. Just as she started to move herself to unavailable, her best friend, Kennedy, nudge her. "Don't look now, but guess who's coming over again", with a smart ass attitude. It was no secret Kennedy didn't think much of this man and his persistence to be friendly with Cecilia. "Hey you wanna go to lunch with SJ and me?, he asked in a quiet tone, so he didn't disturb the other agents. Kennedy looked over and rolled her eyes at Ceci, then turned back to her monitor. Ceci said "Yeah that would be nice. Where we gonna eat?", she asked remembering she only had two bucks in her purse. "Don't worry it's on me, ok?", he said while fingering Ceci's bun. Which her hair was usually in because she was hot constantly, right in the middle of a hot flash. This man, this kid made it a thousand times worse when he was even 20 feet away from her. She couldn't understand it, why she became so hypervigilante when he was around her. She didn't think she could make it through lunch without melting the ice in her glass. So she was surprised when she heard herself say "Ok just come get me when you're ready", with a smile. He smiled back and her stomach did that flip flop it does when you ride a roller coaster.
