High school Milxson (Milo x Jaxson)
Today was rather boring. School went by easily, which was a nice day to end the week. I'm glad it's over now, and I can relax for a few days.
Tonight, Milo and I had plans to go and watch a movie. It was some new cheesy horror movie that I honestly had no interest in. It's something I think he'll like, though.
I had intended for it to be a cute date and to take him out to dinner beforehand, but when I proposed the offer, it just didn't come out the way I wanted. But it's okay. I'm spending time with Milo, which is what's important.
I arrived at his house a little earlier than I meant to. But it's okay, I sit in his driveway and wait for him to come out.
It's not long before he's getting into the passenger's seat. He doesn't smile at me as I do at him, but that's normal.
"Are you excited?" I ask, backing out of his driveway.
He shrugs, leaning back. "Yeah, I guess. Do you think the movie will be any good?"
"No, not really, but it was the only thing that seemed interesting."
He nods at me and we ride in silence all the way to the cinema.
When we arrive, we hop out and I go to get our tickets. While we're waiting for the movie, we play pinball and other arcade games then go and get our snacks.
Finally, we got seated and set ourselves up as the movie began.
It was pretty boring overall, with a few minor jump scares. I ended up leaning on Kaine's shoulder and holding his hand because I was a little scared, but I don't mind.
After the movie, we made our way to my car and got in. Instead of taking him home, we drove out to the park and took a seat at a bench to watch the sunset.
"Hey, Kaine, " I start, I can feel my heart pounding in my chest as I grab his hand.
He looks over at me, giving an awkward half-smile. "Yeah?"
I lean in and pull him into a kiss, pulling away after a second or two.
He looks at me, his face a little red. "Oh- So this was a date?"
I nod bashfully, leaning my head on his shoulder. "I've been into you since freshmen year, " I admit, looking up at the sky.
"So- prom?" I look up at him now, hopeful for a positive answer.
"It's a date, " He nods at me.
