Chapter 1
Essentialists, are a rare mutation of humans that can connect to the essence of life and universal forces and who practice the craft of shaping and affecting them. More commonly this is used to affect the will or ability of humans and animals making them stronger or weaker, faster or slower,more furosiuoes. In some cases some Essentialists can manipulate Time,Space,and even the Elements.
Throughout mankind's historical events,Revolutions,and movements, there was at least one or two Essentialists.The Gods of old were Essentialists,famous historical leaders like Julius Caesar,Jesus,Joan of Arc,Alexander the Great,and so on were all Essentialists that helped mankind.But, through the years Essentialists were going extinct, the "Gods" were dyeing out too.
Our story begins in the Twenty-first century, a Essentialist mother is giving birth, before when she was still pregnant she and her husband were giving their babies Essentialist power, "push" the doctor says, and with a loud scream, twins are born a boy and a girl, technically first born, Zai was strong and even showing signs of Essentialist powers.Barely alive and weak, Zara, didn't have any powers.Having that Zai took mostly all the Essentialist power, Zara was hopeless.
When both Zai and Zara were growing up Zai would practice and take lessons with his parents, Zara on the other hand would sneak in and watch to learn and find her powers but she couldn't seem to touch or see any essence she would try again and again under the covers at night but she couldn't it was helpless.
As Zai grew quicker than his sister, his strength and powers grew too so did his selfishness and his greed.
At the age of fifteen, Zai got a private mentor named Thea, she seemed older than the age one hundred, indeed she was, Zai guessed that she was ancient, Thea was going to teach him ancient Essentialist secrets, Zai decided he was going to kill his parents to get more power.While Zai was killing his parents they tried to fight back,Thea watched him destroy them.
Zara tried to fight him but she was knocked out into a pile of rubble and scraps of metal she tried again and again to get out.Then, she released her essence finally, but it was weak, she managed to get out,but it was to late, she watched as her parents died in front of her.
In our reality, an old man walks into a building abandoned not to long ago, the man used to call himself a Essentialist but now he is just scholar, he study's Essentialists and learns about them, he then feels something on the other side trying to get to him asking for help, Zara reaches into our reality, to the lost of his daughter and wife because of a cruel Essentialist, he takes Zara in.Now learning that the Essentialist that killed his daughter and wife is this little girls brother.
Zai kills every single Essentialist and people say he is also being followed by a mysterious old women Zai says and becomes a God and he fools the world that now has power and rule over the world this is how Zara's journey begins as the last Essentialist.
