It has been long since Tyler moved to Korea. Long has he waited for that time to come, where he could travel the world. But why Korea? Anywhere in the world and he comes to Korea. Though it has been long, Tyler almost forgot his reason for moving; Nayeon. Who is Nayeon anyway? What is with Nayeon and what does she have to do with Tyler?

Tyler has always loved and adored Nayeon for so long. Tyler was in America and she was in Korea. Nothing he could have ever done to meet Nayeon.
That warm feeling of loving someone so much, but he couldn’t do anything about it. He was impotent. It was frustrating him that he had to ‘sideline’ his adoration for her because all he could do was watch her from afar. An action always has a purpose, but does anyone fulfill that? Is there anyone who is persistent enough to actually fulfill his goal? Yes.
Tyler has been planning and working hard for his dream. Though he was aware that it will take him quite a long time, he knows it will be worth. But that doesn’t mean what comes ahead would be easy. Every path or journey has it’s obstacles and luckily, Tyler overcame those obstacles. His fighting spirit and persistence has brought him this far to where he is now.
But as he continues, he forgets his purpose and blindly strives for what he wants to do, but forgets....
Present Time
7:46 PM, Seoul , South Korea
Tyler walks through the streets of Seoul. He knew he was happy that finally arrived in Korea, but why does he feel empty? He feels like something is missing, another reason he thinks; The real reason why he came. He stares at the night sky as he waits for the traffic. Then hears a voice. He immediately knew whose voice that was: Nayeon. All he had forgotten; has came back, his purpose, why he worked hard. He whispers to himself: Nayeon??
He starts to run to the direction of her voice. He found himself in front of a large television with huge speakers playing Twice songs. Tyler thought to himself, “How am I this stupid? Why would I ever think I’d get a chance to meet Nayeon??” As he looks down to his stupidity, someone taps his shoulders. But as cliché as it already is, it happened. Tyler turns around and surprised as he looks at Nayeon. He doubts because of just happened. Nayeon, laughing but also confused, ” 저기요 (excuse me) 내 이름을 말 했니수미까? (Did you say my name? )
Tyler still in doubt, now thinks she is just someone else. ” Sorry I do not speak Hanguel.“, Nayeon chuckles as she confidently says,” It’s okay I speak English, I studied English years ago.“, As Tyler now believes what she says. He looked at her face again. And his heart skipped a beat, and screams her name. Nayeon is flattered but also laughs at how hilarious this scenario is. Nayeon asks Tyler if she could talk to him over some tea. Tyler doesn’t hesitate and answered immediately.
8:03 PM Osulloc Tea House, Seoul
Nayeon, feeling excited, asks Tyler why he is here in Korea.
Tyler, finally knowing the reason for going to Korea, “I was motivated by a special someone, it took me years just for me to get here.” Nayeon, all surprised as she hears this. As sly and as childish as she still is, “Who was that special someone hmm?? Was it..... Me? *purposely asks* “Tyler’s face is so red that even Nayeon noticed it. “No!?!? It was impossible to find someone like you. In fact, it’s a miracle we met!” Nayeon laughs as Tyler becomes as red as a tomato. “By the way, I still don’t know your name.”
“My name is Tyler Abrams. nice to meet you Im Nayeon!!”
“You too Tyler.” As the two of them kept conversing with each other, Nayeon seemed worried, “Tyler, I don’t usually meet random people out of the blue, but it seems that it doesn’t apply to you does it?” Tyler is somehow grateful, and just smiles at Nayeon. She is blushed and asked herself why she blushed. But she hid those blushes away like it was nothing.
9:37 PM
Both Tyler and Nayeon both enjoyed each other’s company, but as Nayeon looked at her phone, she panics because she has passed her supposed to be ‘curfew’. Tyler laughs, “I’m surprised you guys still have curfews.” “Well yeah we’re idols we all have curfews.” Tyler had such a great time talking to Nayeon thay he completely forget what to ask her. She is about to leave the cafe, till Tyler calls for her. “When do I ever get to see you again?”
Nayeon is always confident with what she says, “Let’s where destiny brings us. I hope we meet again Tyler.” He waves as he says his goodbyes. As he was about to leave too, he hit himself because he forgot to ask what Nayeon’s Line Number is. Tyler’s face, full of disappointment and regrets. He realized at that point that all he wanted in his journey, was Nayeon. He walked home like how he walked through the streets of Seoul, Empty.
7:10 AM
Tyler woke up very drowsy, but he knows himself too well that he did not drink much, he doesn’t drink at all. Then *snap* he remembers. Early in the morning, he screams as he couldn’t believe who he just met yesterday. What a miracle it was that he was able to meet and not only meet, became friends with Twice’s Nayeon!! He was full of joy until he remembered ; how is he ever gonna get into contact with her again? From joy straight down to sorrows. A scream of happiness to a weep of dejection. It was just a small mood of Tyler, so that doesn’t mean he could give up at that moment. He has already gone this far and it would be a drag to give up.
Tyler had to be smart, he wouldn’t just search for her in the streets unlike what happened yesterday. And it would also be a problem if he went straight to JYP’s Studio and asks for Nayeon. So the only thing he has to do is to wait for another miracle.
8:00 AM
Tyler finishes his daily routines and decides to head out for a jog in Yeouido Park, Seoul. He was really familiar with the place since he constantly goes there for his daily jogs. As he jogs around the park, it happened. *The Miracles* happened. Once again, he sees Nayeon and the rest of Twice’s members before him. “It’s gonna be awkward if I just woke up to them.” Tyler sighed, so he just kept jogging and jogging until he realized he was jogging around them. Nayeon laughs and jogs right behind Tyler, unnoticed. Like how they both meth the first time, Nayeon tapped his shoulder but instead, she hid under his vision. As clueless as Tyler already is, he thought it was a small branch that fell unto his shoulder. Nayeon tapped him again, as Tyler looked back, confused, Nayeon ran to the front to wait for Tyler and surprised him.
Tyler was so surprised he literally screamed. Nayeon fell on the floor laughing. Tyler was already embarrassed considering the other members watched them. “Nayeon you scared me..“, Tyler exclaimed. “Did I?? Did I really scare you??“, Nayeon laughs with no regrets. “Hi Tyler, let’s go talk somewhere else where “they” aren’t.” Nayeon whispers to Tyler. “Sure.”
They finally found a place where they could talk, AWAY FROM THE MEMBERS. “So what brings you to this park Tyler?” , Nayeon questioned,
“This is kind of my daily routine to jog in the park, speaking of park, what brings you guys here so early in the morning?“, Tyler does a comeback question. “Well, we were mostly bored sitting around in the studio so we decided to go out and have fun.” , Nayeon said in a very beautiful tone.
“I forgot to ask you this before you left, but can I have your number? Since we’re friends.” , Tyler shyly asks Nayeon. “Hmmmmm if you do this one tiny favor for me, 알았지 (You got it?)” Tyler sounds excited as he relentlessly answers, “Sure! Whatever you command m’lady.” Nayeon does an evil laugh without showing it to Tyler. “So all you have to do is record a Tiktok video with us.“, Tyler seemed all confused, “....... OHHH You mean record ‘you guys’ do a tiktok, okay okay I got it, No problem!” Tyler hopes so because he does not like tiktok. “No Silly! You make a tiktok video WITH us!“, Tyler seems so down because he has to make a tiktok video, but nonetheless, he changed his mindset because it’s with Nayeon. Tyler introduced himself to Twice, and honestly, Momo keeps asking questions. “Let’s just save it for another time okay?“, Tyler awkardly laughs.
Nayeon and Tyler started to meet more often, and because of their 2nd interaction, Nayeon was able to give Tyler her Line Number.
Nayeon was right, let’s see where destiny brings them.
7:16 PM, June 27, 2025
Seoul, South Korea
Nayeon invited Tyler to her home, to play some Mario Cart on Wii.
Tyler was surprised she still had a Wii, “Hey there are some good games in Wii you know, like Mario Cart, hmph!” Nayeon complains to Tyler.
“Okay Okay fine, but just so you know, I’m quite pro when it comes to games.“, Tyler proclaims in confidence. “Oh really? Did you know, I beat Mina in games too?“, Nayeon tries to get the upper hand. “In what, Minecraft? Even I can beat Mina with my eyes closed”, Tyler cracked up. “Mmmmmmm!!!!” Nayeon pouts because she knows it’s true. “Okay fine I understand your point, can we just play? Hmph.” “Sure fine just watch out!” Tyler laughs.
They were having so much fan as they play, from competition to having fun.
They didn’t care who would lose at this point because they enjoyed playing with each other. Nayeon unexpectedly won the game! Tyler was in doubt that she won, something must’ve been wrong. “THE GAME IS RIGGED!!” Tyler shouted. Nayeon flicked Tyler’s Head “Aniyo... I.... WON!” Nayeon Claims her Victory. Tyler sighs and accepts his defeat. And as he continues sighing, Nayeon kissed him out of the blue. Tyler, all red and confused, couldn’t speak, but even if he tried speaking, he kept stuttering. He doesn’t know what to do, whether what he might do would be right or wrong. He was scared. And closed his eyes to think. Nayeon caressed Tyler’s face and said, “It’s okay.”
Tyler’s heart were having ripples. He feels free, not locked. He feels tremendous joy and love towards Nayeon. He knows what he is feeling.
Tyler patted and kissed her forehead. “I love you.”
