“To My Dear and Loving Planet”

The place that gave life a place to roam,
a tender place that all call home,
so high the mountains peak,
and oceans who sink so deep,
the birds who soar into the clouds,
to the lakes and the rivers, that swim the trouts,
to have seen millions of days,
to have survived the sun’s hot roasting blaze,
to remember all and forget nothing,
summer, fall, winter, spring
the seasons change lighting fast,
one, two, three and soon many years have gone and past,
animals all shapes and heights walked on this earth,
yet ice still melts in the north,
this wonderful world,
delicate like precious gold,
and this is why, we must protect
and work together to stop the greenhouse effect,
me and you,
and everyone else too,
to save the world we must,
learn to trust,
learn to love,
ourselfs, this planet, the Earth, and all above.
