Best day of my life right, waking up today that's what my mind thought right away. When you become of age and that age is 18, The first new years of you become of age you must go to the ball. This ball or meeting place is something that has been done since the start of time, you feel a pull and you have to be there.
Waking up this morning, tonight was my new years ball, I had this feeling of worry and fear in my middle , in my bones telling me I needed to run.
"Nichola" I could hear my mothers voice yell from down stairs, ignoring this feeling my inner wolf she was excited for it, to meet out mate and al that come with that.
"Yes mother" I called back removing my eye mask from my eyes the lighting hitting my eyes making me let a groan from my pink lips and my mother reply with a " come down stairs" . Getting up putting the black silk robe on heading down knowing that by this afternoon my bags would be packed and I would be in a car heading to a hotel , heading to somewhere where I would likely meet my soulmate. My parent meet there first new years and my brother was born just before there second and they were married by there third the perfect story you would want was my parents , My father and mother and then I was born by their fifth .
Once at the bottom of the stairs I see my mother looking as presentable as ever her red hair perfect and dressed to perfection . She had breakfast on the table and my father was reading the paper ."hey" Nichola said looking at them as she sat at the table, her father looked at her with a smile
"Its a big say sweetie, you have all your things packed?"
"Of course daddy, well except this robe and some things in my bathroom" Nichola said, she had a smile hiding the worried feeling she had in her middle. She grabbed a piece of toast from her fathers plate, before going back up to take a shower, she ate her toast checking her bag making sure she had her life pretty much packed away because if she was to meet her mate , and he was leaving she must leave with him because that is the way it work and the laws. Hearing her phone going off it was her bestfriend Josie May Ballen . She happened to be more excited about the ball then Nichola herself , she turned 18 before her and has been counting down the days to meet her mate. Nichola laughed seeing two photos from Josie asking what she should wear and she looked stunning in both, she had the perfect body curves in the right place and the right amount of ass and truly blessed. She went and took that shower
"Nichola , you look amazing"Josie said moving her perfect blonde hair from one side to the other as she walked in, her dress sliver and to the floor , sweetheart neckline fitted to body as she glided in .
"And you my bestfriend look like a vision of perfection"I said and kissed her cheek looking down at my own dress a black floor length with one shoulder , a slit up the side . With my red hair curled down past my collor bone and makeup on point framing my green eyes. I was a little gifted up top but the rest of me was nothing special. I looked around taking a deep breath so many scents , "nichola did you hear he is here" Josie said grabbing my arm pulling me away from everyone. "who, who is?" I asked looking at her puzzled and confused.
"Him, Alpha Holden Ashely Nixen of the Blood moon pack" Josie whispered"the one who broke the rules by not turning up to the ball when he turned 18"she whispered again.
"Oh him" she said looking around putting her half mask on before catching the sent of mint and lemon."do you smell that?" she asked Josie looking around, she shook her head. Looking around she saw a pair of almost golden eyes catch hers.
"Lets dance"Nichola said looking at Josie taking her hand heading out to the dance floor, The music played as they danced together but she could feel eyes looking at her from across the room before she looked over seeing them looking at her, it sent shivers down her spin as the room just filled with the smell of mint and lemon.She bit her lip her eyes locked with the eyes of the golden ones.
"Earth to nichola"Josie said clapping which snapped her out of the trance she was in"who are you looking at ?" she asked
"I have no idea "Nichola said and gave her a smile as she moved her hips before Josie left to get a drink, she took a deep breath the scent had gotton closer to her.
"Hello there sweet thing"A deep voice said from behind her, Nichola spun around and there he was. Tall , dark hair not black but a dark chocolate brown with Golden eyes. Skin slightly tanned but not to tanned and you could see though his designer suit that his body was made by the moon goddess herself . "Hello" she said in return her voice slightly nervous and shaky.
"I'm Alpha, Alpha Holden Nixen"The male said putting his arm around Nichola's waist pulling her off the dance floor with out giving her choise , her wolf was going wild inside as he was where the scent was coming from which made her curse in her head.
"I'm Nichola Bloom of the Tri Pack"she said following him even if she didn't have a choice but to follow him, she sighed"your hurting me please let me go" she whimpered, his grip ever so slightly let go but by this time he had lead her to a private room, the sound of the music had gone an she just hoped Joise would not freak out when she came back and she was gone. This guy that had dragged me to a room was a rule breaker, a bad guy so much heard about him and not knowing if its true or not.
