Who Is That
Cameron's POV
"Cameron my boy! looking sexy as always," Derek flattered.
"You know I try," I shrugged passing Derek. I must've stopped more than ten times on my way to last period.
Swarming kids raved the halls of Oxford Academy, diminishing the invasion of any personal space. Ceaseless amounts of aroma clogging my nose from every route, roaming the halls. From deodorant-less Andy to too much bath and body works perfume Lynn. A place where stereotypes manufactured me.
"Cameron I really had fun last night," Bailey giggled.
Where did she even-? You know what. . . never mind. Bailey was one of the most prettiest girl here in Oxford Academy also the most bland. She once had the appearance of a class rank nerd long ago. Just because the looks were there didn't mean she wasn't a One Direction, y=mx+b, scrutinizing-.
"Yeah honestly one of the best nights of my life," I fibbed.
"Benton," my last name echoed the halls. Thank you sweet baby Jesus.
"Well that's me," I said anxiously turning around.
"So will do that again sometime!" Bailey hollered, trying to be heard over the loud clustered of people coming from every route.
"No!" I shouted loud enough so she could hear. I knew she had fallen silent, flushed with embarrassment.
I had stopped walking once I had seen Alex and Kayden almost surrounded by girls.
"Mate we saw you drowning over there and not like the song," Kayden protested, I chuckled faintly.
"Hey ladies one minute please," Alex bundled up Kayden and my shirt and yanked us from a far enough distance from the women that stoically waited our arrival. Alex had released our newly wrinkled shirts from his scrunched fists.
"What are we going to do about-?" Before Alex had been able to finish his sentence, a group of three had passed. Somehow it felt like they had been walking in slow motion.
One of the girl's wore a vibrant orange colored shirt, fitted tight enough I could appreciate every detail. The girl had wore her hair loosely hanging from her high pony tail, strains of her brown hair had lightly rested in the carvings of her collarbone. Her tawny brown eyes had seemed to glisten when she had realized me. We locked eyes until she expeditiously turned to face her friend with the champagne pink hair.
"Holy hell did you see her!" Alex eyes lit with electricity.
"The one in the orange?" I inquired.
I will shave his head before he-
"No dude the one with pink hair, I've never seen a sexier human being that can rock pink until now. I'm gonna make her my woman," Alex announced.
"What is wrong with you? Seriously," Kayden asked.
"And why is Caleb walking with them? How'd he get to be in a crew with such fine ass birds?" Alex pondered.
Yeah, how did a guy like him get to be friends with them.
"I bet you I can bang them before you do," Alex said nonchalantly with a shrug.
"See this is the shit I've been talking to you about," Kayden attested.
The bell unexpectedly hammered into our ears.
"Well I'll see you guys later," I announced parting from the group.
Makayla’s POV
"So were not gonna talk about how Cameron Benton gazed at you like he was Plankton and you were the secret krabby patty formula?" Caleb asked.
Dani bursted into an uncontrollable laughter as we entered into our last period class, english.
"He didn't notice me last year I'd be dammed if he choose to notice me this year; Especially with the four periods I had him in last year," I responded.
They weren't wrong Cameron had noticed me. He had looked at me as if I had been walking naked down the halls. His pierced cloudy blue eyes stripping me with ever glance. Don't get me wrong he could be nominated as the sexiest man alive, but he also could be nominated as the biggest fuck boy with the most std's alive too. But I'm pretty sure Alex would win by a couple of points. And even so today was the last day of junior year it was already to late.
"And you! Alex looked at you-," Caleb continued this time onto Dani.
"As if I was the last colorful skittle in the bag," Dani said.
"Well that's a way to put it, but sure," Caleb shrugged as we sat down in our seats.
Being the last day, all classes had been extremely rowdy, chaos filled the air.
"So are we still on for tonight? I really want you both to understand why Star Wars is better than Star Trek," Caleb protested.
Caleb had been trying to get us to watch these movies for years. Dani and I had finally ran out of excuses on why we couldn't.
"And you better not tell me you fish went into a coma again!" Caleb seethed with aggression.
Alright nobody said our excuses were good, just good enough to fool Caleb.
