Different kinds

Rhode Island is so pretty the ocean ,the wave,the smell of salt in the air, it's like heaven. There's always a seagull flying above, trying to catch its meal. My name is Greta and this is my story. I live in a house with my nana, my dad, and my stepmother. This house is more like a cottage in size. There are two rooms, one bathroom, a small kitchen and that's it. I don't have a room and I don't have a bed. My room is a corner in a wall and my bed is a couch. Today I turned six. I always hate my birthdays. No one celebrates me it's like another day but today I want to try to change it. I want to talk to my mom my birth mom for the first time in Forever. The last time I talked to her or saw her was when I was three. I remember her walking away and I remember screaming her name and her not turning around not saying goodbye. Daddy doesn't like me talking to her or the thought of talking to her. But I don't think he gets how much it hurts to look at my friend's mom see what I'm missing. I kept bullied so much I wish I had someone to talk to you about it. So today I'm talking to my dad and asking if I can at least talk to my mom for 5 seconds.

I talked to Dad and he said no. He said that no one would want to talk to me not even my mother. At this point I understand I understand so much why no one loves me .Tomorrow I have school .My teacher told me that she wants to introduce me to someone I hope I don't make a fool of myself.
