Really well written!
"This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. Admittedly it wasnt what I expected when I picked it up - i expected one of those simple insta-love romances where FMC finds her place in life. This was not that - and im so glad it wasnt!! I was pleasantly surprised by this book, as it was such an original idea. The whole "world" is unique, and i love that our characters have really deep backstories. I also love how our love interests slowly begin to change and fall in love. I went from loving them, to hating them, to loving them again. It was a bit wild. My only complaint is the abuse. They are hypocrites because they abuse FMC, even though they claim to hate abusers. I understand it at first when they think shes just another abuser, but... it gets to the point where they need to recognize shes a good person. I didnt quite buy the idea that they truly thought the beat a man up, though maybe they didnt? That last little part of the book has me questioning things. Another aspect I love is how FMC is portrayed with her trauma. I havent been abused, but I have had struggles with mental health, panic attacks, etc. And I think it was beautifully written. I could really relate to FMC at certain points, and it just feels really real. A lot of authors try to brush over the darker aspects of healing, which really shallows out characters. But not this author. They did an amazing job. Overall though, this was really well written. Its been a while since a book has truly captivated me, and I really loved this. Thanks so much, author, and I look forward to reading book 2."

Unique plot with a to die for characters
"This was listed on a Booktok recommendation channel and I’m thrilled to find it available on here! The plot is unique and builds throughout book 1 perfectly. It leaves us on a cliffhanger but the trilogy is done and you can binge read the series. The characters are also so well thought out. They each have their own identity and the relationship they built is special between the pairs. I highly recommend this book if you want a spicy reverse harem that includes world building, character development, and so much emotion. Note to those that are on AI watch. This clearly does not read like it was written by AI. 👏🏻 This is a fantastic book written by an actual writer! "

"Pretty much the only thing I can fault is that some words are the wrong words - like Auto correct chose them. I did well in comprehension in English so I just breezed past them lol but others may get stuck and co fused. Otherwise angst hurt comfort but I was surprised with some subject material and excited to understand more and more! Nice well done xx"

"I love this book, I enjoyed every page of it and could hardly put my phone down. I felt soo many emotions I struggled to comprehend, and although thankfully I have never experienced what the characters went through, I felt it. I cried, laughed, cursed, hell I even begged heavens to give her two of my life’s if I had nine😂😭. However, I would have enjoyed it more if the second and third parts were published here on Inkitt and made paid stories rather than on Patreon. The author would still be getting paid and the readers would not have to scramble to Patreon to download the app or whatever. It would have been better accessible on here. Nonetheless, great story, I recommend🥰😘"
A thourghly satsisfying read.
"It was amazing. Although it was a slow-burn, the pacing was perfect. The chapter had content while making sure it didn't drag. I loved the main female lead, Nea Riar. But the other male leads could be smarter. One thing I found utterly disappointing is that the next two books, Their Wife: Book 2 and Their Wife: Book 3, are both on Patreon and you have to pay there. I understand that the author also needs profit from this, but she can post chapters of the next book here at an agonizingly slow pace, and readers that want more can subscribe to her Patreon. But there are a lot of people here that can't afford it, and the slow updates would be at least provide the book to the people who can't pay, and the ones that can might find more motivation to buy it. It would benefit everyone. Otherwise, I loved it, and i need moreeeeeee "

"This series is something else! I've read tons of fantasy stories on Wattpad and Patreon, but Their Wife stands out as a one-of-a-kind and captivating tale. The idea feels new and different—not your usual "heroine gets swept off to another world and everything falls into place" type of story. D.R. Knight takes us on a darker more intense ride with Damanea (Nea), a main character who has gone through hell and is just trying to stay alive. Nea's story is raw and full of emotion. She's running from one nightmare to end up in the hands of five guys from another world—each carrying his own pain, secrets, and deep hatred for women. This isn't your happy-go-lucky fantasy; it's harsh and heartbreaking, but that's what gives it such power. You experience every hardship Nea faces, and while her journey is dark, there's a thread of hope running through the story that keeps you glued to the pages. The characters are the best part of this series. Nia who has been through alot, in my opinion still stands strong and smart, as her survival instints are what are keeping her alive. They have depth The story behind And it's the layers of complexity that make them memorable. Seeing Nee influence and slowly change these people. Even though they have hatred at first it is the most rewarding part of the book. Now the only downside is the need for better proofreading. There are some grammar issues and typos that might detract from the flow. But honestly The story is so compelling it is easy to ignore. If you like slow-paced romantic stories? With a dark and intense theme. This series is something you must read. But fair warning: It's not for the faint of heart. D.R.S. Knight doesn't shy away from difficult and provocative situations. Therefore, if this is a matter of concern Approach with caution. Overall, I am obsessed with this series. It's an adventure. Emotional and memorable, I can't wait to see Nea's journey unfold in the next book. She deserves love and happiness after all she has endured!"
Bought the rest of the series
"I LOVED the first book of this series so much that I bought the rest of it. As of 11/7/2024 the 2nd and 3rd books are definitely in need of some fine tuning. I didn't like how Zev was so easily "forgiven". Both Zev and Axel were never really forgiven by her and it just seemed like the bond was an excuse to patch it over without having to write out how she forgives them. Jaxon's was awesome tho. I do wish all the men had a meeting simply going over exactly what they did to her... That would be interesting. Anywho, I really liked this series and was really happy with how cheap the patreon was. 💕"
