Prologue: The second child

It wasn't an easy day, at least for Jacob. The Dark widow's attacks are becoming more frequent and closer to his coven, And his beloved is going to give birth to his child any moment from now.
Jacob sighed and ran his hand through his hair for the hundredth time in the past hour. He was deep in thoughts that he didn't even hear when his beloved walked into the room.
"Oh Jacob" his beloved Elsie sighed "What am I going to do with you?" she asked rhetorically.
"E-Elsie, I didn't see you come in" he mentally slapped himself for stuttering.
"That's because you were so deep in your thoughts that you didn't notice your beloved enter" Elsie said.
"I'm so sorry" Jacob said back to her
"Jacob, you know that I am your belo
ved. And you are supposed to share everything with me." she continued "Why do you keep everything away from me?, Or you don't trust me anymo-".
Before she could finish her sentence, she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen and then, she felt water running down her leg
