Crashing into you

I am currently in Mrs. Pennys P.E. class stretching trying to not barf for the up coming mile we have to run.

If i were to get up just start screaming fire , running in circles , throwing up my arms in the air would they think i was crazy ? I mean yeah of course , but how crazy do you have to be for them to lock you up in a nut house?

"Hey buttercup" Jake said as he walked up behind me kissing my cheek. I smiled back giving him a small wave as he sat down. Jake was my best friend since elementary. We did basically everything together.

It's not what you think though. Jake actually has a boyfriend they've been together since freshman year.

His name is Ty he's on the football team. And I've made myself the official third wheel.

"Sooo where's Ty? he's always following you around" I say laying flat on my back tired from just stretching. God i really am out of shape.

" I'm not his owner... but I bet he's walking around somewhere acting all male testosterone and push-ups" Jake said smiling like a fool looking around for him. They were deeply in love even though there're the complete opposite. Jake was all sunflowers! rainbows! Ty was all I'm a man! and I'm tall!

They've never actually said that but when I'm zoning out during their conversations that's all I hear.

Sometimes I wish I could have that than I think "ew relationships" , eat some food and I'm better.

Not long after ty walked into the gym with a group of boys. They all walked in laughing like some boy band. Hair flowing in the wind and everything . Trust me they were no one direction though , I mean if one direction were to walk in here right now I would so-

"liz!" Ty shouted as soon as I was dreaming about Harry Styles.

Asshole.

I've never interrupted his zac efron dreams I just know he has.

"What?" I moaned out sitting up from my spot. "Did you hear a word I just said ?" Ty said rolling his eyes while jake chuckled lightly. This is how it is every time.

Ty asks questions, Elizabeth doesn't listen, Ty gets mad, Jake laughs at our half hour argument. It's a routine you could say.

The teacher walked into the gym shutting the door loudly behind her. "Good morning class!" She basically shouted as she walked to the middle of the gym her very, and I mean very, tight outfit was leaving no imagination to the eyes. I mean more power to her, ya know fight the power! but personally wouldn't wear it around all the horny teenage boys. I almost felt bad for her I mean this is her first week here and being fresh meat at this school was not good even as a teacher.

One of the jocks whistled at her she turned around quickly to see who made the sound, maybe way to quickly because she ended up on the floor tripping over herself . I snored a small laugh.

Oh holy assballs.

Of course the one time I laugh everyone else is quiet. These traders. She glared at me while everyone stared knowing I was in trouble.

"Miss north is something funny?" She spoke up with a stern voice. "Um no uh ma'am" I cleared my throat, I could even feel my eyeballs sweating. I never got in trouble and I mean ever.

I wish I could be that fly on the wall.

"Well maybe after school detention will be just hilarious" she smiled still looking at me.

"Uhh not really my type of joke ?" I laughed nervously but it just seemed to upset her even more. Well I thought it was funny.

Both of my just lovelyyyyy best friends sat behind me. I knew before I even turned around they were about to laugh their heads off.

Mrs.Penny gave me the pink slip and told me to meet her after school and to not be late. Than she had me run an extra lap. I'm starting to think she's not to keen on me.

My mom was gonna be so pissed. Running away sounded fun right about now.

The bell rung after a while I put all my things into my bag as quick as I could and ran out of the gym. The hallways were full of people laughing and smiling I mean it is the last day before spring break. The last day before spring break and I have detention. How amazing is that.

I was walking away so fast I didn't even notice the guy going in the same direction as me. We bumped into each other hard. All the stuff fell out of my bag.

I looked up to the person I bumped into .He had brown eyes and light brown hair to match. He had a cute little smile on his face. I don't think I've seen him around here before.

"Oh crap I'm sorry" he said bending down to help me pick up my things "hey I'm max" . "I'm Elizabeth" I smiled back "but you can call me Liz" I quickly replied.

We talked for a minute introducing each other. He was really nice he made me laugh a couple times even. "Well it was great meeting you ,unfortunately I have to go meet my friend right now but I'll see you around" he said helping me stand up and collecting the rest of my things. "Oh yea of course I mean cool man .. uhh bye dude.. ?" I said very awkwardly. He laughed lightly and walked away.

Wow how cliche is this situation I thought to myself before hurrying off to the detention room.

Today has been probably the most eventful days of my life. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

I texted my mom and told her what happened, and let's just say what she had to say wasn't appropriate some of the words were probably banned somewhere in the world .

Jake and Ty made fun of me all of lunch. I had to hold myself back from throwing a sandwich at them. They wished me good luck and talked about how I was growing up so fast. I walked into detention and there were only two other students.

It was already 3:20 as I sat down.

"Alright kids today were going outside to clean the football feild!" Mrs. Penny smiled. I wonder if it hurts to smile that much.

We went outside to start the cleanup. I nearly passed out when I saw all the trash on the field. All the papers and trash from back packs and lockers were everywhere. "Ok everyone you can leave after all the trash is picked up" Mrs.Penny walked back inside.

-Hours later-

I picked up the last piece of trash , you won't believe how much these little demons can create.

I got permission to leave after telling the teacher I finished , than I saw my moms caller ID on my phone and answered as I walked to my car. "Where are you liz it's 7! Come home!" She screeched so loud I had to pull the phone away from my ear.

"I know mom I'm getting in my car now I'll be home soon" I hung up after a quick conversation and a goodbye.

I got into my car and let go of a big breath I was holding as I layed my head on the steering wheel. I put my car in reverse than backed out of the school parking lot.

I turned on my music than drove down the dark street. It's been such a long day I can't wait to just take a bath and go to sleep.

I had driven about 3 miles away form the school already. I was on a long street that seemed to go forever. I looked up at the street signs. "Ladybug street" it said in big letters. What a stupid name I mean come on lady bug? I kept driving softly rocking my head to the music.

My phone kept buzzing so much it would probably break if it buzzed again . I looked down quickly and saw my moms name . Gosh woman I didn't get kidnapped by gremlins. I didn't answer though I would just explain it to her when I got home. She probably wouldn't believe me for getting detention just for laughing anyway. She'd make up some big scheme like I was running under ground drug deals at school.

When I looked back up the bright headlights stunned me as the car came right towards my car. The other car was swerving so fast. I jerked the wheel , I felt the car spin I could hear myself scream , it was like my head was under water.

I knew I was gonna die. That's the last thing I remember before everything went black.
