On The Land Of Sycamores

Suddenly a light came through the seams of the old door into the room , someone started speaking in a whisper ; It was a sharp and low voice and that person was saying something ." Is this a dream in the another dream ? How can i gett off from this dream ? Uhh , I've had enough ." She thought . A person with a black cape passed the door without opening it ! It was a man with a dark face and pale hands ; He was getting closer snd closer to her , He was whispering : ' Perish , You should perish , You devious heir ! ' Emily was scared to death , The man was staring at her and she just could see his grean eyes . Her hands were shaking and this time , Emily started to believe that , this was not only a dream ." But when you believe something is not a dream , it is a dream ! " She said to herself . All of a sudden , Emily heard her granpa's voice : ' Do not afraid , Emily . Just say three times , Go away you Ahriman . '

" It is impossible ! my grandpa , my dear friend , he is not here ! He left me whith these dark disasters three month ago . " She could not move her lips or even breath very well and felt a very heavy ache in

her chest . Emily wanted to cry but there was something that did not let her for doing that , finally a powerful energy came to her chest , she take a breath and shout three times : ' Go away you Ahriman, Go Away you Ahriman , Go Away You Ahriman ! ' The man reached out his hands to her , when said those words ; He got his ears and started to scream horribly ! Emily closed her eyes , she just wanted to wake up , this nightmare was so terrifying . Her tears dropped on her face , opened her eyes ; Everywhere was in the darkness , again . ' Well , now i need a glass of water ! ' She said . Emily went to the kichen , while she was drinking water, she felt , somebody touched her shoulder .

: ' Had a nightmare again ? ' It was Ruby , her uncle's wife . Emily turned back and look at her : Yes , It was terrible ! ' She said . Ruby raised her hand and slapped across Emily's face , Emily was shocked , she still stared at Ruby . " Ruby never wants to be kind to me , never ! Off course , she hates me ." She thought . : ' You nasty girl ! Just look at the clock , It's 4 a.m ! Do you know what this means ? It means , Shouting is not a good way to show your wild behaviour ! Do you think here still is you dear grandpa's home ? NO , IT'S OURS , WE ARE SLEEPING , so you should be SHUT UP ! ' Ruby shouted .

" Well at least i understood , when you're shouting it means you're angry but mine means i'm a dumb and nasty girl ! " She said to herself . Suddenly , Ruby seized her hand , threw her into the room , shut the door and locked it . " I don't like this life , How can i get off from this darkness ? Was that my fault , when father was doomed for crimes which he had never done or when mom left me alone and got married ? If grandpa were here , she wouldn't dare to behave like this . " Emily fell into her bed and started to cry .

When Emily woke up , It was at noon : ' Ohhh ! Look at the time ! I was in a deep sleep .' She said : ' The door is still locked so it means , you shouldn't be thirsty or hungry and even can't go to the toilet , really love this life ! ' Emily look around her room , it was a mess ; " That's why Ruby never like coming to my room , well it's good but let's make it clean for the first time , it smells really bad ! " She thought

and started to clean it .

It was 7 p.m , Emily finished her work and was hungry although her uncle was not at home and Ruby would never call her for dinner . The sun was going down and the room started to get dark , she acclimated to this darkness and after her grandfather's death she never lit her room . Emily missed her grandfather so much , she sat on her bed and thought about him , Did she hear her grandfather's voice in reality ? " I don't think so ! Perhaps Ruby was right , maybe i got crazy after his death . Uhhh , i don't know , all i want is being free from this darkness . " Six hours passed and it was 1 a.m ; Emily was asleep , the green and strange light lit the room again , she opened her eyes ,the dark faced man was laughing . His teath were not ugly but Emily scared from his laughing ; She ran near towards the closet unconscious. The man said : ' Running from what ? From death ? You devious heir ! Your generation should be perish sooner.' Emily shouted : ' What do you mean ? Who are you ? ' He was just laughing and came closer to her .Emily could not control herself and shouted so loudly : ' Go away You Ahriman , Go Away You Ahriman , Go Away You Ahriman ! ' The man was very close to her ; Suddenly he scraped her neck , then screamed and disapeared . She touched her neck , it was wounded , Emily saw the blood on her hands and whispered : ' He wanted to kill me ! ' The locked door opened , her uncle and Ruby came into the room ; Her head was spinning , she just felt her uncle brought her to the kitchen . Ruby put the glass of water on the table , in front of Emily and said : ' No needs to bring her to the hospital , Sam . We should take her to the psychiatrist ! Look what you've done to yourself ! You crazy nasty girl ! How can i accept you as a daughter in law ? My dear Fred won't be safe too ! Well of course , we shouldn't expect more than this from the child of a criminal .' Ruby's talking was repetitive , Emily looked at her uncle , he was silent and tired like always ; according to Emily's grandpa , he never dares to shut the Ruby's mouth. Emily clean the blood of her wound and went to the room ; The scars of her heart was bigger than that wound .

" Daughter in law ! Huh ! being dead in a sudden is better than dying slowly with an angry and brat boy ! What was Ruby's plan ? Ohhh ! I remembered that day , when the lawyer read grandpa's last will and testament , he said : When Emily get 18 , this house'll be hers . So , five mouths later , I will be 18 and Ruby doesn't like to loose the house ! So she wants me to share it with his son ! What should I do now ? I'm lonely and nobody helps me ." She was tired of that damn life , she did not know why that man wanted to kill her , but when she thought about her own life , her wishes and chagrins , she remarked " Perhaps if that black capped man killed me , I would be free from these totures ; This life is beyond all bearing ! I have no choice , succumbing to the man is the way of freedom ." She wanted to wait for the man and do not shout this time .

After a while , Emily got bored , she oppened the closet and picked up her grandfather's book which she hid it there . He had written many amazing stories in that book , Emily reminded that day when he gave this book to her : ' Here, This is the hidden tale of kings that just a few people know the whole stories, I've written the stories in English for you to understand them better , Emily .' He said . Emily did not know what was the original language of these stories , the stories were sweet and beautiful and she loves to read them more and more . Many hours passed and she was still reading , the stories were not finished yet , but she had to move a little bit because she got spins and needles in her feet ; She stood up and take a look on the clock : ' Ohhhhh ! It's 7 p.m ! ' she said and then stood in front of the mirror : ' Look at this zombie face !' She said . Her face was funny with that unkempt hair but she could not laugh to it . " When dying is sweeter for you than breathing , you have no reasons to laugh about ! " Emiy thought . The room started to be dark , she sat on her bed in silence , even did not answer her uncle when he came to call her for dinner ; She had no words with nobody just waited for the black capped man .

Near 2 a.m , Emily heard his voice : ' The third blessed night ! It's the time to perish you , You devious heir ; You can't banish me this time , the death is near you now .' He said. Yet , he did not came into her room , Emily stood up and took a deep breath : " He's right , tonight is the freedom from these totures ." She thought . While the man came into , Emily heard her grandfather's voice again : ' Pick up the book and go to the closet , herry up , my dear ; Do it .' Her grandfather was really talking to her , Emily picked up the book . " Maybe this is the right way ! " she thought and went into the closet quickly ; The dark faced man was looked frightened but still came closer , Emily noticed that book was shining ; She oppened it , a strong blue light lit the room , the man was shaking , went backwards , he said nothing and just disapeared in the darkness . All of a sudden , Emily heard a sound from her back , turned back quickly and saw a door which was appeared in her closet : ' Maybe This , Is The Way ! ' she said . Emily touched the door , it oppened . She took a look in it , it was a dark room and she could lit it with the light of the book . ' I'm not a nasty lonely girl , Let's find out , who am i in this life ' she remarked and entered the room .
