The Awkward First Meet
This is adding on to the summary .
Oh and before I start I might not be the best writer so please do not send hate.This is my first book so please don't send hate thank you!!!Okay well lets start with the story.🙂
"Hi I'm Kassie and I'm a senior so this is my last year and I'm happy to get out of this town after I graduate."..."That's what I had in mind but my thoughts have changed since then but let's start from when it started in the cafeteria"
So right when I'm walking to sit down with my lunch at our lunch table I crash into something very hard.And right when I look up I see a person I have never seen before.And then it hits me thats the new boy.I don't realize im staring until he chuckles softly at me.
"I-I'm so sorry uh you must be the new boy...I can't talk apparently if you want you can sit with us and uh...oh what am I saying."Then he speaks."That would be great I just moved here and I don't want to barge in on anyone while they eat.""Oh wow finally a boy with some common courtesy around here."I guided him to our table and I realize my shirt is covered with food and my thoughts are interrupted with laughter.
My friend Paisley is almost in tears when she says "Oh that was great Kassy bumping right into the new boy on the first day."Then of course there commenting about how I got him to sit with us and how I attracted the new boy.
But I must admit he is the hottest boy I've ever seen.His perfectly pale complexion with beautiful light blue eyes and platinum blonde hair and oh did i mention perfect body shape too.Ok I gotta slow down I just met the dude I can't fantasize about a boy I just met.I can't see how any boy could like a girl like me I mean I have pale skin,dark brown hair and a silver/blue eye color.Oh and i wear glasses to just some classic black plastic framed glasses.
Just as the lunch period of my friends talking to the new boy and me just starring at the clock is about to end of course they decide they have to embarrass me.My best friend Maya says"So new boy if your interested my best friend Kassie really needs a boyfriend."Of course I get embarrassed and mad so I decide to leave the cafeteria.
Then I feel a hand on my shoulder and it's surprisingly comforting."I'm sorry your friends did that to you."He says softly. "I'm used to it at this point."He looks like he wants to say something until he blurts it out quickly."You know your very pretty Kassie."I blush and add "Thanks but I would say something to to but I don't know your name.""Oh my name right,my name is Ryder"
3 hours later.Time to go home
I've been thinking about this all day.I wonder if this is what I've been dreaming of my whole life.I like to read about supernatural stuff and I've always dreamt as a mate or soulmate.But as I board the bus home I pull out my phone and listen to music the whole ride home.
The first thing I do when I walk into my house is go say hi to my beautiful Argentine Red Tegu Jazz.I have had her for 3 years now so she's about the size of a dog now and if you didn't know a Tegu is a really big intelligent lizard.
After I feed her I go to my room and lay down.I sleep for about 2 hours before I hear something get slammed into the side of my house.What I see is Ryder with wings and covered in blood with a nasty looking monster thing beating him up.
I grab a bat off the porch and I hit the monster on the back of the head knocking him out.Then I drag the now unconscious angel into my room and fixed him up with my medical supplies.
I sit on the end of the bed and within minutes hear a loud groan.He looks very beat up but I did what I could.And then he looks very scared."You know I won't tell your secret right?""That's not the problem you weren't supposed to find out yet."Ryder says soundy very frustrated."Find out what exactly."I say with impatience,I hate when stuff is hid from me."Promise you won't freak out."I nod."Kassie were soulmates."I don't know what happened after that because my vision went black.
That's the end of chapter 1 in the next chapter there will be more dialogue I hoped you like the story so far.It will be updated this week but if not it will be the next so stay tuned for more baiiii.Oh and the chapters might be shorter in the beginning.
