Chapter 1
In the Eastern Domain, an old man finds a basket floating along a river. He looks in to find an unusually large egg... The old man decides to keep this egg and see what this egg would turn into. *5 months later* One night he heard a giant cracking noise that came from where the egg was. In the morning he checked on the egg to find that it had hatched and beside it was a baby. This man took care of this baby as his own teaching it martial arts techniques and about the world. Naming the child Karma.
One day the old man disappeared without a trace. Karma had never been allowed inside the old mans library and had always mentioned with a smile, “One day if I were to leave this world you may enter this room, but right now you aren’t ready.”
So later that day Karma decided he would enter the library and seek his origins in the library. When he entered he thought it just looked like a normal library, but when he tried to open one of the books it releases such an immense qi that Karma couldn’t even look at it.
Eventually he decided that he would become strong enough to read the book with ease. With this in mind before leaving the house he grew up in, he wanted to take one last look around.
When going around the house Karma noticed that on the chair that the old man would always sit on had a book and storage ring sitting there. Without hesitation he went straight to read the book, but when he started to red it’s realized it was in a different language. When he closed the book Karma noticed that the back of the book had a cultivation array engraved onto it!
Karma had heard from the old man that these could increase martial artists’ cultivation speed. He also mentioned that these are extremely rare in the Western Domain. He almost forgot about the storage ring the old man left behind. Karma packed up his items and got ready to set off on the path of a martial artist!
