Chapter 1. Yesterday’s Flashback
May, 1st, 1920
It was just a normal day in High-School… Teachers Teaching students, Students being students, and Nurses being nurses. As I walked next to my partner Jack Mason, Who was getting the spring Festival presentation ready for us… But then, they came. It was Alexis and her goons… Alexis had given a reason why she shouldn't be messed with… She closed down many schools because her father funded them, plus her father was funding this school as well! ‘Well, Well, Well… isn’t This Max Scott, and Jack Mason.’ Began Alexis Mary with her evil tone. We ignored her, making sure that the Spring Festival Presentation is gonna be finished. ‘HELLO?’ Shouted Alexis, waiting for us to answer. I got up from my seat walking towards to the vending machine, inserting my 10 Dollar bill to get 2 Gatorades, and two jumbo Hershey’s chocolates. ‘Oh, I guess this Gatorade and Chocolate bar is for me?’ Began Alexis. I walked past her, giving the jumbo chocolate bar to Jack and the Gatorade. ‘Sick em’.’ Said Alexis sending 2 of her Goons towards me.
As they walked towards me, I got up ready to fight. While 2 Familiar hands touched my Back. I looked behind to see 2 of my friends in my old school, Sky, and Neo. ‘We won’t let you fight these goons alone Max!’ Sky began. ‘She’s right! You have done too much for us. It is time that we do something for you.’ Added Neo. ‘Well, Let us start already.’ I said, punching the first bully in the face. The bully Backed back, Only coming back with a punch that hurt. My nose bleeding, I gave the bully two signature punches before knocking him down. While Sky and Neo were dealing with the second goon. All of Alexis’s goons were backing away from her, making her vulnerable. ‘What?! I’ll make sure that daddy fires you all!’ I was pissed that she would just attack me for a dumb reason, so I ran after her, and she was running towards the staircase leading into the empty hallway of classes.
She screamed ‘What did I do to you Max? What did I do?’ I said nothing, only chasing her up until the rooftops where the next part of the high school was built. ‘Look at you, You chase me for no reason why!’ Began Alexis with her temper. ‘You sent your Dumbass Goons towards me!’ I said shouting at her. ‘Well, at least your school couldn’t last another day until I was here!’ Alexis Evilly Replied back. ‘YOU’RE DEAD!’ I said, grabbing Alexis’s chest, throwing myself and her on the 1st beam. “Woah!” We both screamed before hitting the hard cold beam. ‘I can still take you Scotty!’ Bragged Alexis in her Kung fu pose.
As I punched her in the gut twice and gave her a roundhouse kick, she got up, kicked me in the face and did a sweep in the leg. Which forced me to punch her in the face, pushed her. She pushed me into the rail of the beam, with her hand on my neck, saying ‘Any regrets Max? About the Wasteland your school is about to become because of you?” I pushed back, saying the words ‘Get Out of My way!’ Breaking the first beam with the punch and both of our weights crushing it.
She gave two punches across my face, and a kick in the balls, making me fall down holding them dearly for 20 seconds. Then I punched her in the face and headbutted her. Then she tried to Dropkick me, but she missed only injuring herself. Then she did it again saying ‘After Your school is shut down, you won’t have any place to go!’ But I Chose Resistance, saying ‘Scram!’ Breaking both of the beams, We both fell into the glass where the cafeteria was.
‘Max? Max. Max!!’ Shouted the Nurse. ‘Gah!’ I said waking up after that fall me and Alexis had. ‘You did it Max, You saved the school!’ Began Principal Steve, Congratulating me. ‘What did I do?’ I asked. ‘After the glass broke, I thought that was a brick, but that was just you and that spoiled Brat, Alexis Mary. It turns out that you and Jack were the victims again, but one of you decided to end it, once and for all.’ ‘So that’s what happened… Where’s Alexis?’ I asked once more. ‘Oh! I expelled her.’ Said The Principal. ‘Johnny’s Mom and Dad will be funding the school after they heard the heroic thing you had done.’
I smiled, the nurse winked happily, the principal laughed his hearty laugh, and everything went back the way it was for 2 years.
