Author's Note
Dear reader,
Lost is a profoundly extravagant book for me. It came up to me with the idea of writing this new and different adventurous piece of work when actually my dad, brother and I go for a jog along with Rex, the lop-eared golden labrador and Camilla, the pointy-eared German Shepherd in the nearby sugarcane fields with our tracksuit outfits and jogging shoes. The dogs would gambol and scamper tail-waggingly, their tongue hanging out along with saliva-dripping mouths.
We absolutely relish ourselves, meeting and contemplating with nature along with a crammed full lot of squarely planted sugarcane fields, forest with overcrowded towering trees with plentiful of leaves and as clear as crystal tranquillising waterways accompanied by adorable fishes, tadpoles, freshwater snails and crustaceans. Occasionally, we would carry trap along with us to grab them and collect them in an aquarium.
Sometimes, I thought to myself, “What if I would be lost?“, and then I could imagine a lightbulb appearing above my head, a bright idea to write it down.
Hope you enjoy the book. Love y’all.
