Tensions escalate between Russia and NATO over disputes on Ukraine. I the hopes of halting the US-NATO advance, I Russia launches a nuclear warning shot from a base near the city of Kaliningrad and NATO retaliates with a single tactical nuclear airstrike

As the nuclear threshold is crossed. Fighting escalates to a tactical nuclear war in Europe. Russia sends three hundred nuclear warheads via aircraft and short range missiles to hit NATO bases and advancing troops. NATO responds with approximately two hundred nuclear warheads via aircraft.

With Europe destroyed, NATO launches a strategic nuclear strike of seven hundred warheads from US land and submarine based missiles armed at Russian nuclear forces. Meanwhile Russia request help from the North Korean government to cripple the US Japan based forces to prevent air support for the advancing fleet. In response China aids the US to destroy the North Korean nuclear forces, enforcing the international treaty signed thereby effectively removing North Korea from the nuclear war.

Before losing its weapons system, Russia launches missiles of five to ten warheads per city depending on the population size from silos, road vehicles, trains and submarines at the thirty most populated cities in Europe, with the aim of inhibiting the others recovery and NATO retaliates in kind.
