“And the award for the number one publishing house of the year goes to...Bridge Publications!
“A huge round of applause please!” said Thomas Smith, Chief Guest for this year’s Honours Media Awards.
Emma Bridge came forward to accept the prestigious award, with a look of excitement and amazement on her face.
Bridge Publications, though only 2 years old, had created its mark already. Emma had slogged herself off the clock for it so that it could reach the height of achievement it had now.
Daughter of the famous actors Victor and Susan Bridges, Emma chose to follow her own path and not that of her parents’, and with her sudden breakup with long-term partner Neil McMohan, she was very much the center of attention for the Media.
Standing at five feet six inches with the mystic green eyes, the dark-haired beauty stirred quite a reaction amongst the men, and who wouldn’t want her, with a body many models would die for and all the perfect curves in the right places.
But she did not care for this, her only goal now was to keep up her company’s reputation at the top position as it was now and not let anything -or anyone- come in her way of success.
Work was the one thing from which she could completely distract herself from, to avoid thinking of the unfateful day when she had caught her fiance` cheating on her with another woman. From that day onwards, she never looked at another man and believed that there was no such thing as true love in her life.
Emma was talking to her fellow colleagues, sipping a glass of champagne, when she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to find a pair of stunning clear blue eyes looking at her.
“Hello Emma, long time no see?” said Damon.
