Fun to read, but not a masterpiece
"So first of all, the characters are too OOC for me. Newt's humor is basically not there and he's not as logical and cool-tempered as in the books and films. I find it really unfortunate, because his personality is very unique and that's why I like him so much. (Of course it's always hard to capture a character's traits and understand the decisions he makes.) Second, the grammar and punctuation is really bad! Sometimes, the dots and commas are placed either wrong or not at all. Same with the quotation marks. Then, many words are spelled wrong, but you can excuse that, because the author's mother tongue is not English, so it's kind of understandable. Third, the plot is "okay". It's interesting, but it doesn't leave you on the edge of your seats. But the minority of fanfics do, so this point is not too dramatic, You can definitely feel sparks between Newt and Julia, but their relationship has much more potential and can be farther developed and explored. And last but not least, I am not quite fond of the writing style. It's all very emotional, the characters tend to outbursts that seem to be a bit too much. Instead of just shrugging it off or laughing about it, they start to yell. I think this story needs more of the actual characters' personality. You can't really dive into it and enjoy it on a serious level. If you want to just have fun or read a random fanfic about Newt, this is not so wrong to begin with. Furthermore, the grammar needs to be corrected, just like the punctuation. The plot has potential, but needs to be developed. That requires a deep-dive into the characters. I recommend a little help with the translation of English words to make this story even better. I hope this helped, Lilly"
