"What if we die together? Will we meet in the next life?" I asked, he looked at me and I saw little stars in his brown orbs,

"You know this isn't real, right?" He said as he smiled and tucked a hair strand behind my ear,

"I know, but answer me,"

He looked down and entangled our palms, pulled my hand up and placed it on his chest, right above his heart.

"I will find you no matter what, I will make us fall in love again," I could feel his heart beating in a rythm, as if it was a promise.

I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder as we watched the night sky together. The moon was quarterly in the clouds, the breeze was cold and it hummed a tune that I could never forget, a beautiful moment.

Just then a loud gunshot was heard. We both gasped but Ash breathed a little uneasily,

"Ash! Oh my- no, no, no, stay with me, please, Ash!" He was hit on his back, blood was sprawling everywhere,

Suddenly someone pulled me behind, away from Ash, holding my forearms, "Let go of me! What the hell are you doing, leave me!" I yelled and then into my sight, came Dad, with a gun in his hands, little smoke rings were coming out of its nozzle,

Right now, I knew only two emotions, disappointment and heart break,

"Dad, how could you?" Tears didn't seem to stop, my vision was a little blurry, he moved closer to me, I looked at Ash, he was fighting to keep his eyes open and make way for air to reach his lungs.

"He didn't deserve you," Dad said, he placed his hand on my shoulder but I shrugged it off, the gun was still in his hands, he ordered his men to leave me and so they did. I didn't waste a single minute and ran to Ash taking his head into my lap, some of my tears fell on his cheeks,

"Ash, please stay with me, please, you promised me you'd never leave me, didn't you? I do not allow you to leave me, Ash. I don't,"

His hand reached upto my cheek, although it was shaky, he managed to wipe off some tears, "Please d-don't cry," He stuttered, I shook my head in a no as few more tears made their way out, I was wiping his tear off,

"Chris, get in the car now!" My dad shouted, nothing was audible except Ash's slowed breathing, and him trying to talk to me, "Live for me," He said, and took my hand in his, "Live for us,"

That's when his chest rose and fell for the last time. His eyelids dropped and his head lost all the strength.

"No!" I screamed, "Ash!" I shook him, knowing that he isn't going to wake up and look at me like I was his whole galaxy, "Ash, wake up! Please!" I was crying uncontrollably,

"Enough, Chris. Get in the damn car," Dad yelled again, "Why, why!" I shouted, half crying,

I was still sitting with Ash's head on my lap, Dad was standing in front of me, I held him close to me tightly so no one could take him away from me,

"I cannot live without Ash," I said in a cold tone, as if there was no more life left in me, there was a moment of pause. The breeze flew soothingly, this is it. I quickly grabbed the gun from his hands and pointed it on the right side of my forehead, "We will always be together, Ash," I wearily smiled, allowing a bunch of tears, and looked at him before holding our hands,

"Chris, no!" Before Dad could grab the gun back, I had pulled the trigger, and there was a second gunshot that I last heard,

I woke up with sweat covering me. It has been days I've been getting the same dream again and again. I grabbed my phone, it was 4.30 in the morning, "Shit," I whispered, I was gonna sleep in one of the classes again,

I wiped the sweat off my forehead, and drank some water, before I found some sleep.

"Again?" Ray asked, we were standing in line to join the dance club in our college,

"Yeah, I don't know why," I replied,

"The same gunshot dream?" She asked, I nodded.

Just then, a lot of crowd was heard,

"What's happening?" I asked looking around,

"I would've told you if I knew," Ray said, sarcastically,

Two guys entered the campus. They looked like second or third year students, our seniors. One of them looked at me as he pushed his hair back. Those eyes, I've seen then somewhere. He looked away, and walked in the building of Economics.

I was frozen on the spot. Those eyes seemed so familiar, like I once saw my whole galaxy in them. A few tears rolled down my cheeks, as I relentlessly tried to force my memory back. Where have I seen him?

"Maddie? Oh god, what happened?" Ray asked, as she shook me, and pulled me back to reality,

"I--I--" I couldn't explain, because I myself was trying to know what just happened, I don't know why I was crying, all I knew is seeing him felt like a longing between us was finally over, like the stars in my sky finally found a moon, and they aligned themselves.

"It's okay, everything will be fine," She consoled me patting my back, as we hugged,

"Let's go find something to eat, okay? I've entered our names in the club," She suggested, I nodded and smiled. Did he feel the same way I felt earlier? Or did he just not notice me? Or am I imagining things?

My head pained now. It wasn't a normal headache, but a stinging one,

Why did I feel like I've seen him before? Why did I feel so defeated, as if I lost a war and I couldn't do anything about it?

"Madison to Earth!" Ray shook my shoulder,

"Yeah?"

"Guess what I found?"

"What?"

"Remember those seniors? I got their names," She said excitedly,

"Okay, so what are they?"

"Chase and Sean,"

Everything seemed to pause when I heard that name,

"Chase," I said, and a smile unknowingly crept it's way in, like I've known him better than just a few moments back, like this was the only name I've wanted to hear from the past nineteen years.
