Appointment
It’s is going to be a long day. I asked for some documents from Bank but got none. So here I am to complain as well as to pick them up myself. This building is quite in an isolated surroundings near residential area. I never saw this part of our big busy city.
Being a Psychologist in a busy city is really hard task. It’s not that I don’t like my job, I love it but there are days when I just wish to be alone and rest.
I entered this sophisticated building of state bank and went straight to the receptionist. And the first thought that came in my mind was –Hmm…Nice dress! She must be in a bubbly mood today.
“Welcome Miss how may I help you?”
“Good morning Catherine, I would like to meet your Manager regarding some Bank Documents.” A look of surprise crossed her face followed by a warm smile. Her name was obviously there on her badge but by the reaction I can say that no one ever noticed that till this day.
“Do you have any appointment?”
“Yes I actually do have an appointment by the name Dr. Amy Brooke?”
“Wait a second Miss let me cross check”.”Sure”
Few minutes later she instructed me towards Manager’s Room. After a knock I heard that Come In ringtone like I was some kind of an employee of this Man. Damn spoiled his first impression.
A bald, grumpy man by the look; legs crossed, bored expression and raised eyebrows looked at me ;like what man I am here to complain and this man is looking like I just crashed his Peace of Mind. At least fake your feelings for some time.
“Good Morning Dr. Amy Brooke?” Sounded like more of a question than a statement. “Have a seat!”
“Mr. George, Nice to meet you.” “So tell me young lady what brings you here?”
“I think you know the reason of this visit very well.”
“Short and snappy, aren’t you? So your delay was just the cause of this new employee who got lost and delivered it to someone else.”
“All right, then where is it now?”
“I really don’t know, but we are searching for it.”
“Do you realize that the story sounds a bit Too much fake?” He looked at me a bit nervously and faked a smile.
“Wow! You caught me pretty fast.” (Ha Ha thanks for compliment!) I thought.
“Sir, it’s my JOB to read behavior and study People’s mind.”
“Never know I was dealing with a psychologist.”
“Now, would you please file a complaint and liberate us from this conversation?”
After completing that task I took my cue to leave as I was about to twist the door’s knob it moved from the other side and the person harshly pulled the door with full force.
A woman in her last forties STORMED into the room. I can literally feel the heat emitting from her body. Looks like someone got a problem! What amazed me about that lady was the big banner she was holding. Unable to control curious cat of inside, I just back off a little bit to have a look. The reading on the banner was totally entertaining. It reads as…
