PROLOUGE

William Lendrow, better known as Will, is your average teen in New Rochelle. For the most part...

Will is a sixteen year old boy, learning life lessons all around him on a daily baises. Will lives in a small studio apartment with his Dad, and younger sister, Abigail. Will moved to New Rochelle after his mother divorced his father and took everything they had back in Texas. When Will was six, they moved back to his Dad's hometown, New Rochelle and moved in with his Grandma and Grandpa until his Dad was able to get back onto his feet. Even though they are still far from wealthy, Will is very greatful for everything his Dad does for him and his sister, knowing that money is tight, which is why Will works at the local cafe, Charlie's Cafe to scrape up some cash for his Dad.

Aside from the cafe, Will has another job, one that he isn't too proud off. He's part of the local gang, The Silvers. When you see a member, you know. They were named after the fact that they all wear silver chains. Will usually hides his under his shirt, while every other member is showing it off like its a shiny, gold medal. Will usually goes on drug deliveries with the leader, Andrew, as backup, you never know whose watching or whats about to happen. He tries to avoid the rivalling-gang violence the best he can, but when you're in a gang, you're all brothers. You have eachothers back no matter what. So when Will's boys call him for a fight thats about to break out, he gets there as quick as he can. No one ever questions his bruises or busted-lips, atleast not anymore. Everyone around him has gotten used to that constant black-eyes or green and purple cheekbones. Yet the only one that knows about the gang is his bestfriend, Steve. Even though Steve isn't apart of the gang, Will is still very protective of him since he's one of the only people that keep him sane, the other being Abigail.

Now, what about Rose-Mary Arden? The girl that is living an actual dream? She lives in an enormous mansion, one with an outdoor and indoor pool, and of course hot tubs. She drives a BMW, and whatever she wants her Daddy will buy her. But, what if she doesn't want this life? What if she wants to live on the wild side every once in awhile? What if she doesn't care about the societal standards between the rich and poor? But it's not like her opinion matters, because her father will never let her speak- let alone look at someone who isn't rich like them.

So, what happens to the two? Will their two worlds meet and they'll live happily ever after? Of course not! Sure, this book is tagged in teen love, but their story is much more complicated than that, especially with Will trying to achieve his life-long goal;

To find his Mother
