GHOSTS ATTACK

There has been a war going on for over 500 years, involving a race called the DLINDY and another race that has no name the DLINDY refer to them as ghosts, who use robot killing machines as the choice of soldiers that don’t sleep eat or show mercy.

The DLINDY survive by running and hiding as they have more powerful engines then the ghosts. Now the DLINDY look almost human except for their eyes they seem to glow, it is said that once they had a great power that was like no other and they believe that this power is why the war started and this unknown race wants to control this power or destroy it. However this power was lost over 200 years ago it is said all knowledge of this power was destroyed and all those that Knew of it were killed in the same explosion. The descendants of the DLINDY continue to survive to this day but know very little of their past and their numbers are getting smaller as this war drags on.

It is 2018 on earth and a man by the name of Jake Jackson JJ as his friends call him kisses his 8 year old daughter on the head and tells her have a good day and that daddy needs to go to work and he will be gone a while and that he loves her. His daughter Caitlin was in a car accident and JJ wife was killed in it and Caitlin has not spoken a word since, over 2 years since that day. He tells the nanny not to let her stop up too late and that he will check in with her at the next available opportunity.

JJ gets into his 306 mustang black with white racing stripes, his baby and pulls out the drive and starts his way to the army barracks near Texas approx 1 ½ hour’s drive from his home. JJ has served his county for 9 years and once he reaches 10 years of service he can leave and get a regular job and be close to his daughter Caitlin. JJ waves at Caitlin and the nanny they both wave back and JJ feels sad somewhat that yet again he has had to leave his daughter, he continues driving along on his way. The time soon passes quickly and before he knew it he was approaching the main gate of his barracks, he pulls up and shows his army ID to the guard and he opens the gate and JJ drives in and parks up.

JJ walks into his barracks to find the other members of his unit playing cards he drops his gear and shouts over to women called Tina who is playing cards. How was your holiday Tina? Did you enjoy yourself? Tina smiles at him and says yes I had so much action and I was ALMOST sick as she laughs, We all know only action you got was playing with yourself in the shower ! Scott, Si, Mason all started to laugh Tina went a little red and started to laugh as well. Suddenly an alarm goes off and another officer comes running in telling them all to report for duty straight away.

Mean while a DLINDY vessel was under fire and the pilot VASHAR was trying to outrun a Ghost that was firing upon him near earth’s moon. Vashar vessel was damaged due to the ghost attack and his engines were failing and he had to get away from them fast and before his ship was totally crippled he decided that his only option was to crash land on earth otherwise he didn’t stand a chance. Vashar pushed his engines as much as he could in hopes it would give him enough distance between them that he could make an emergency landing before the Ghost could track him to the surface. Vashar enters earth atmosphere and makes a steep decent in hopes that the Ghosts won’t be able to follow him, as he approaches the ground he ejects from the cockpit and his escape pod hits the ground hard and knocks himself out.

A while has past and Vashar starts to come to and realizes he is still strapped into the escape pod and unbuckles himself and presses the hatch release and falls out of the pod. As he stumbles to his feet he looks up to the sky and tries to focus his eyes, a few minutes pass and his eyes have adjusted to the bright sky, he notices smoke in the distance where his vessel has crashed and billowing black smoke is rising from it. Vashar notices a cave nearby and starts to walk towards it for shelter from the heat of the sun.

JJ and his squad report as ordered and sit down in the briefing room and a general Curtis starts talking: What you are about to hear is classified and will not leave this room! Exactly 30 minutes ago we received a report from NASA that an object has crashed at Chihuahua desert and that another object has been reported in low orbit that has taking up a stable orbit. Your orders are to find this object in the desert and report back. NASA will try and determine what exactly is in low orbit, get your equipment and you will be dropped by helicopter 2 miles from the target you have 20 minutes that’s all gentlemen, good hunting.

Tina, Si, Scott and mason get up and walk out behind JJ, Scott whispers to the others is this for real. This has to be a training exercise little green men! JJ turns quickly and looks at Scott and the others, we have are orders it makes no difference if it’s a training exercise are not it’s no different from any other mission as far as I’m concerned. If you scared Scott keep it to yourself and let’s collect are gear and get ready UNDERSTOOD! Yes sir they replied and went to get ready. JJ kept thinking about his daughter Caitlin and that she has been through enough without anything happening to me either. It wasn’t long before squad 4 could hear the helicopter approaching, Si noticed it markings on the side of the helicopter and he smiled and said to the other LOOK! Whisky tango foxtrot 7, Si said what the fuck 7 is a good name for are mission as they all started to laugh. Alright everyone enough messing around and load up JJ shouted, we have 40 minutes to the target everyone check their weapons and gear.

In the cave Vashar found some water dripping down the side of a wall in the cave and started to drink it, it didn’t taste the very nice but he needed to keep his energy up if he was going to stay alive on this alien planet. He thought to himself it’s just a matter of time before the ghost finds him and come down to finish the job. Vashar decided to head back to the escape pod as there might be some equipment still in there that I could use in my current predicament. Vashar left the cave and started to walk back towards the escape pod as he got closer he noticed that the pod was half buried off the impact and that it was extremely damaged, he gets back to the hatch and see that some of the systems are still working and that under the seat is a bag of emergency supplies food, water and a communications device that could call for help, but if he uses it the ghost will be able to find him.

Vashar starts to hear a strange noise in the distance and starts to look around all of a sudden a flying machine (helicopter) fly past he quickly grabs the supplies and starts to run back to the cave entrance and hides inside. JJ is sitting at the side seat on the helicopter and is looking down at the desert and he see a small round metal object half buried in the ground and tells the pilot to swing around to investigate it he also see the black smoke off the object they were sent to find. JJ decides that they need to look at this as well as the other crash site so JJ and Mason tell the pilot to drop those two off here and that Si, Scott and Tina to carry on to the original objective. JJ and Mason get dropped off and the other move on and JJ and mason approach the crash site slowly with weapons raised.

JJ contacts the barracks and informs them that they have discovered another crash site approx 2 ½ miles from the objective and that there taking a closer look. Mason see an opening and starts walking towards it while JJ waits looking around, Mason slowly put his head into the hatch and see that its empty and calls JJ over. Look JJ there seems to be a harness inside and the hatch looks like it was opened from the inside. JJ quickly raises he gun and looks around and notices some faded footprints in the sand that heads away from the wreck. JJ points it out to mason and decides that they will follow them and see where it leads.

Tina, Si and Scott have been dropped 2 miles for the crashed object and are approaching the object by foot and the helicopter has left. As they start getting closer to the crash site they start seeing metal fragments in the sand and big huge panels and what looks like a wing lying on its side. Scott call the barracks to inform them of what they have seen so far and to his surprise general Curtis answer the com he orders them to get to the crash site and secure it while additional units are deployed to contain the situation, Scott confirms the order and informs Si and Tina and the double time it to the crash site they get over hill of sand and they see that there standing on part of the crash ship that’s buried in the sand. Tina can’t believe her eyes, ITS HUGE she says it’s like a 747 plane in size as she heads to the expose part of the ship she see 8 big circle vents each the size of a small house, its long and seems to get wider as it get to the buried section Tina thinks that the 8 big vents, is the back of it and due to the impact, looks as if it has noosed dive into the ground she uses the radio to contact Scott and tell him what she has found.

Tina, Si and Scott take up positions around the crash site that give them a view in all directions and waits for reinforcements to arrive. Scott contacts JJ and explains what they have found and JJ tells him I think you might be right as we have found what looks like an escape pod and found footprints leading away and we are going to follow them. Sit tight and wait for the reinforcements to arrive then head to our location Jackson out.

JJ and mason follow the footprints for 20 minutes and see a cave in the distance and slowly approach the entrance of the cave JJ and Mason on either side of the cave entrance. Ready JJ says on three, one, two, THREE both jump out and enter the cave following the sides of the cave looking around. Mason turns his flashlight on and looks around the floor and notices some blood on the ground and a strange container/bag up against a rock but no sign of its owner. JJ turn his flashlight on his rifle and start pointing it around the cave and notices a ledge 16 foot up and tell Mason to grab that bag were going up there.

Mason asked JJ if this is a good idea we don’t know what’s up there and you will be up there by yourself for few minutes before i can get to the top! Are you sure? JJ smiles I will be fine whatever it is we know that it bleeds and there for we can kill it if needs be, I’m start up you cover me from the ground OK! Mason moved back for a better position and JJ started climbing it not very high but there aren’t many places to grab onto makes it very difficult climb. Mason reaches the top and puts his arm over and pull his head and other are over too suddenly he see a figure in the shadows that look like his eyes were glowing green and it kicks him off the ledge JJ falls backwards but luckily he lands on top of Mason and beside a few bumps there both fine. JJ gets to his feet and tells Mason there is a man up there he kicked me off and it looked like there is more to the cave up there too. We both will climb up together and this time weapons ready.

JJ and Mason start to climb back up and reach the top with no problems this time and the man they saw is gone headed deeper into the dark cave, Mason asked what exactly did this man look like? JJ replies to be honest I’m not sure it looked like a man but his eyes were green not like ours I mean glowing slightly green it’s hard to explain but i think we have found what came out of that pod. They start to walk down a narrow passage and they need to walk in single file as there is very little space as they continue they find that the tunnel branches off in two directions JJ tells mason to go right and I go left are radios might not work well down here so i suggest we follow these passageways for 20 minutes and then meet back here ok, Mason agrees and tells JJ to be careful and he head off down the passage.

JJ starts walking and kicks something near his foot and it starts to flash and pulse, JJ doesn’t know whether to run and stay still, it could be some sort of mine or bomb! He thinks for a moment, it hasn’t went off so it’s not a mine I don’t think so JJ slowly moves his foot up and steps over it and walks a little faster, few minutes later the passageway open up into cathedral of a cave its humongous. JJ can’t see his hand in front of his face without his flashlight and thinks finding anyone in here will be difficult not to mention find the way back out. He decides to press on for the few minutes before he has to go back and meet Mason. JJ hears a cracking sound and stops moving he can’t see any think then the ground under his feet gives way and JJ is falling he hits the side of a rock and his weapons is knocked out of his hands. He continues to fall for what seems a long time when only a few seconds have past and thinks this is it! I’m going to die and my daughter will be all by herself, JJ closes his eyes and all of a sudden he feels something catch his bag and he hits the wall hard and is knocked out. Vashar seen him falling and grabbed the wall behind him and reached out and grabbed this man’s bag, as Vashar pulls JJ on the safety he notices that they look allot alike in many ways and that he was bleeding from his head after hitting the wall.
